So, how many Great Danes can fit in the back seat of your Lightning? I can only imagine the reactions you may get at stoplights when those huge heads and ears emerge from an open window.
I get a lot of satisfaction from the pure joy my dogs experience from having their noses saturated with smells as we roll along. Smell is to them what sight is to us, only more so.
If anyone can solve the problem of dog nose prints on the windows and, after the windows are opened, slobber streaks on the rear door post, Iād be thrilled.
I hope to see this change in my ā23 Lariat. One of my regular drives involves about 50 miles (in a couple of segments) of absolutely straight highway. Unless thereās a crosswind or obstacle of some sort, one doesnāt need to move the wheel at all to stay safe and true.
Thank you. Iād do exactly that (with a plug cover) if I were concerned about recurrence of the problem. Having inserted the plug into the FCSP many times and removed it without issue, Iām treating my episode as a fluke caused by a rare event (the upward jerking of the cable near the plug). My...
Thank you. I managed to not find this thread when I searched. I am impressed by the range and vigor of the proposed solutions. The dealerās solution was essentially the same as what I did, only I was pressing down hard on the latch button while pushing down/inward on the handle. This would...
This is one for the āAdversity is the Best Teacherā file. Or maybe the āDumber than a rockā file.
Anyway, I have a FCSP. It works great. I had the charger handle (the plug) latched into the FCSP just like always when not using it. When I went to remove it so I could charge the truck, it...
Yes. Itās a nice addition to the neighborhood. But that wonāt stop me from seeking perfection in those things that make my life easier. First world problem.
The OBX drive has become a lot less stressful for EV owners in the last year. This is more good news. My life will be complete if the MBA and EE gods will agree to put an ultrafast charger all the way down in Hatteras Village where my drives and the road end.
Agree. There is good reason to install the aftermarket grid to protect the front cooler. Itās inexpensive and easy to install and should have been part of the truck from the factory.
I havenāt experienced any interference with any sensors or cameras from the receiver itself. A bike rack or other large item will cause some interference, just as my bike rack did on my ICE 150 and Expedition. First world problem.
Iām sorry to be a year late responding. I have no idea what the tongue weight limit might be. The tow hooks (which are really loops) are welded into the front frame and seem beefy. I hitched my 22ā boat and trailer to the receiver and everything worked just fine, though I was not doing...
Iām selling a pair of side pivot storage boxes. From Ford. Nearly new. All hardware minus a couple of washers. They had to go to make room for a Bed Slide. Bummer. $480 new. Yours for $300 for the pair or best offer. No lowball nonsense. Local pickup in Northern Virginia.
