The fob is WELL hidden, but accessible in an emergency.
Came here to say that my moonroof started 'chattering' at me on the cold morning drives to get the kids to school. It was right above my head and was driving me insane.
The YouTube video linked here fixed me right up. Took less than 10 minutes to spray some B'laster silicone lubricant on the...
I'm always humbled when I see you guys (and others) doing this type of thing yourselves. I've changed a few receptacles in the house, but that's the extent of my electrical work. :) Good on you!
Kick ass on the chemo. Double good on you!
All of these are probably great recommendations.
I've used this one daily for a year now with zero issues...

I can't imagine having this truck without a NACS (Tesla) adapter. It would drive me up the damn wall and GREATLY reduce the experience.
We did some long miles this week for the holidays and took the Lightning. Granted there are a healthy number of SuperChargers (and other L2) spread around...
BRAG! :) That's lovely.
My commute is just up the stairs these days. Which makes me sad. Pre-Covid I would have seriously loved my Lightning versus the old ICE and watching the gas needle.
My wife and daughter keep these in my truck for their ridiculously large Nalgenes...

I use ABRP 4 or 5 times a year road tripping across the state. In my mind that breaks down to $10/trip so it's worth it.
I also use it with the OBD dongle for accurate consumption tracking. The maps engine in ABRP is straight up trash though. It bounces from road view to satellite view...
Behold the "Juice Thief 9000"!
I went with a Rockler dust hose reel I had sitting unused, but I found a number of RV cord reels on Amazon. Thought about a 5 gallon bucket, but the loops were way too tight.
Routed the female end through the side outlet and wound up the 100’ cord.
Slapped the...
Heya fellas,
I'm headed to see family for Thanksgiving (NC mountains where Helene has wreaked havoc) and they're cool with me hooking the Lightning up to the house and bumming some juice for a few days.
At home I have a sweet fast charger setup since purchase, so I've never done much with...
Nice! I haven't used it with CarPlay yet, but I have on just my phone. Solid app.

I'm sure it's awful, but I've spent less than 10 minutes ever looking at it. I get in, the iPhone connects, and before my seat belt is buckled I'm looking at Carplay.
As an avid forum lurker, I feel it's my duty to weigh in on the now 8-page thread. :)
This is my 3rd F150 and 5th vehicle in 30 years. As the son of a petrolhead and dealership employee, I've driven almost everything under the sun at one point or another and I can say that the Lightning is...
I have had full PPF (paint protective film) quoted. It is apparently THE way to go from a protection standpoint as it fully covers all paint and self heals with heat. Plus it can be replaced if damaged.
Plus you can change the color of your truck!
The problem for me is the $6500 price tag...
