I use mine to backup the house. Limited to 15a keeps things to a minimum. I run my starlink, fridge, pellet stove and wood stove, and a few bedrooms for TV and lights. I live off grid so if my house batteries die this is my back up.
I’m interested in this as well. I’ve been following some aftermarket lighting companies that have developed rear wigwags for the reverse lights (not reverse brake flash). I’m really hoping a company can come out with something.
Did my 23 Pro ER today. Had the install done in about 30 mins. Had some dumb complications that were my fault getting the beta forscan downloaded but once I got it downloaded i was able to do the firmware update on the first try. No DTC clearing needed.
It’s not THAT bad. But it’s certainly not something for the faint of heart. I was surprised I did it right on the first try. It’s not a “grab a 6 pack and get to work” kind of job. But if you follow the tutorial down to the T and ask questions you’d be good to go. It’s really just a matter of...
That will work. You will have 4 wires left over. It’s best to either remove them and fill those cavities with some silicone or snip them short and use the shrink tube to seal the end.
So do all the lights flash? Im trying to figure out what’s flashing and what’s just the LEDs messing with the cameras frame rate. But it looks great!
I don’t think you’re quite following what I’m saying. It was working. I’ve used it twice. Once during my install to check for function and another time in march because I needed it. Both times it worked great. I haven’t used it since march, and when I went to use it the other day it wasn’t...
So regardless of the state of charge of my house batteries, I’m having this issue. The trucks system is functioning as normal with whatever I plug into it. It’s only tripping that outlets GFCI (whichever I’m using on the truck). I’m going to have to unplug all appliances on all 4 of the circuits...
I should note that the picture is just for reference when it was working. Nothing has changed in my electrical system to my knowledge. I tested it with my gas generator and that didnt work either. So somewhere in my house on one of those circuits, I’m having a ground fault of some sort, or...
So like I said, it worked fine at one point. The EZ switch is to deal with the bonded neutral issue. I’m very familiar with the system and installed it myself. I’ve broken it down to just trying to power 1 lamp with this system. My battery’s SOC is like 65%. I’ve checked every parameter I can to...
