The Lariat and Platinum have thicker steering wheels. Probably due to extra padding or thicker leather wrap. One of those weird ways that Ford cuts corners on lower trims.

Disagree. The GM port is in a horrible location for a truck. If you have a trailer connected you almost always have to unhitch to charge since there are so few pull-through chargers. I’d argue that the port should be on the front passenger side to accommodate both Tesla chargers and towing.

I was told back order with an ETA of 7/25 which was just under 2 weeks from when the part was ordered. We’ll see…
