very possible - not sure when it would have changed. But when I scanned the QR on the pack there were instructions for marking and drilling. And the body has dimples where that would be.
So it looked like an update. Apologize if it’s always been this way. I was just ready to drill and happy I...
Also noticed an install error after checking those pictures. Sharp things pointing at tires don’t look right. This is better.
to cover the screw to clean it up grab the rubber piece off of a dremel sanding attachment and twist it on there. All done
I did get mine off EBay from an out of state dealer. Here’s the link.

very helpful! Similar to toting the golf cart. 1.6 with an ER means I’ll need to plug her in once I get to my river spot. But a trickle for a day or two gets me home without having to hit a station on the way.
thank you.
Ford went ahead and put the lightning mud flaps on easy mode. No more drilling anything. Just some tabs, clips and bolts. All 4 corners took less than an hour. You fold the tabs inside the body and push the clips on. They are tight, but will monitor over time.
I post this because the ford...
Well here we are.
been a truck owner for many (many) years. Have actually always been a JDM guy with Tundras, Titans, tacos and Frontiers. Went for my first domestic 9 months ago into a Dodge Ram “Salute To Service” edition. She felt like a truck for sure. But she also went full domestic on...
Standard response has been “what if like the grid goes down?!
you think you’ll be able to get premium for the vette if the grid is down?”
well said. The wife has the wrangler we can (in say; a hurricane pinch) load up and evac to distance. I’ve got an 8 mile daily commute with maybe quarterly...
I’ll do an actual intro post soon. But, I have owned nothing but trucks since I was about 20. Driving a car feels strange. The dodge is getting lemon lawed and was taking crap from the guys for not buying a ford like most of them drive. (Though I’m not sure the lightning is going to stop...
this is the way I go. I grab that 5x8 they have to drag the cart around when we’re traveling and can use it.
most of the places I stay for 2 days or so minimum and don’t really touch my truck for that time. So was trying to mentally figure if I could do that and handle the round trip just level...
Umm alright… thanks?
search of the forum, google, and you tube brought up a lot of enclosed trailers, campers, 3500lb graders on 1500lb trailers. I did check before taking the time to join and posting on a forum for a vehicle I don’t even own.
think I got the answers I needed - Thank you...
thank you. Helpful as well
And yes it’s the norm in forums. I find it’s best to be polite the first time and direct the second. Neither are an attitude, just redirection.
so taking 30-40% off of highway range with a smaller trailer would likely be a rule of thumb. I’m in FL, so elevation changes aren’t really much of a thing
Thank you. The charging wasn’t really the question. The question was more around real life experience of towing smaller loads/smaller trailers. The 100mile trip example was just to make math easy.
Also, I was as polite as I felt I needed to be towards someone with two curt answers to questions...
