  1. Repair question -- minor collision

Not to dissuade you but it’s likely not as easy as just swapping in a salvaged headlight. The model in the picture appears to be a Pro. The LDCMA/B headlight modules require programming and using one from another trim will result in errors.
  2. Front light bar partially lit

If the light strip around the headlight is out I'm guessing it's most likely an issue with the headlight module, in this case (I believe) specifically the LDCMA module which controls the driver headlight and provides power to that half of the light bar. Unfortunately replacing that headlight...
  3. Trailer camera

Short answer, yes, but you’re probably dealing with the 12 pin connector which you can’t easily get a mate for. Also, I believe that camera isn’t that great so if you don’t have an F150 it may make more sense selling that harness on eBay and installing a better camera. This thread has more...
  4. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Thanks for the confirmation. @ZSC100 I’m hoping that just FORScan changes are required to fix the issue.
  5. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

@boggle can you confirm what update you’re referring to here? You mentioned EAP and WAL but was it the BCM 24.5.1 update?
  6. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I can't speak to the switch or harness because I opted to not install those but I used the sensor you tried to order and it works on my 2023. It looks like the harness part number is just yearly iterative version (M->N). Bolt is the same part number. What's interesting it that it looks like...
  7. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I recommend that you head over to the FORScan thread, read through that, and then start with something simple that doesn't require making hardware changes to your truck. I don't recommend making any ACC-related changes until you've actually made the required wire and module upgrades. Also, make...
  8. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

You may want to check these FORScan values: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/diy-installing-passive-entry-to-a-2022-f-150-lightning-xlt.15590/page-16#post-516553
  9. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I don't. That video is probably the best way to get an idea of what is involved. Essentially, once you get the bumper off you'll need to remove the trim behind it that conceals the the original wire harness. Based on the video you can do so using a trim tool but it's a bit of work. Again, since...
  10. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Those bolts are ridiculously expensive for no reason. This is where I bought mine and the cheapest I could find since they let you buy them individually: https://www.allamericanfordinoldbridge.com/buy-ford-parts-online?path=%2Fsearch%3Fsearch_str%3DW720714S450B (Price is per bolt)
  11. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

A bit surprised the cameras are required but I can also see why. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out. I think you’ll really appreciate the cameras though. Don’t think I could drive the truck without them.
  12. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I do. I believe they were part of the Tow Technology package. I was lucky enough to have all the wires except from the bumper connector to the CCM. That’s the harness segment I made myself rather than replacing the existing one.
  13. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I have the parking sensors and made my own extension. You can certainly go either route, I recommend what you’re most comfortable doing.
  14. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Definitely need the distance sensor. The switch is optional. If you’re able to, I’d recommend what @ZSC100 said and make your own harness rather than buying the OEM one.
  15. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Assuming he doesn't already have the CCM so the bumper will still need to come off though, right? Is there a way to mount the CCM without having the bolts thread through from behind?
  16. Footprint of 131Kwh battery vs 98 kw battery

At one point In the OOS video of the Lightning production line Kyle asked the Ford rep which battery they were looking at and he said you couldn’t tell just by looking at them so this makes sense.
  17. EVs cut brake dust pollution by 83%!

All this talk about disc brakes reminded me of this previous post of a test mule with eight lugs and possible drum brakes all the way around. With regen doing the heavy lifting…
  18. EV Tires

One aspect that Toyo touts is improved aero via flush lettering which I find funny but, hey, every little bit helps, right? 🤷‍♂️
  19. EVs cut brake dust pollution by 83%!

  20. EVs cut brake dust pollution by 83%!

This is a good point. We may be more at risk of brakes needing service due to lack of use.
