Once they told me the cost to install all the components for the powering back the house, I dropped them like a bad habit. $9,000 for a system to power part of my house?? No thanks. I can spend less on a natural gas generator and probably have more backed up. Plus, the house doesn't have power...
Take the cash.
I didn't have the option.
I have a fantastic pro charger but it is still in the box 9 months later because it's over $11K to have the house backup equipment installed, (also my electrical panel doesn't have any room for anything else) and for that price, what is the ROI? I lost...
I was having that issue with my pixel 5 and then my pixel 8 pro when using wireless Android Auto. My XLT doesn't have a wireless charging pad, I bought an aftermarket one and that still didn't help. So I turned off the wireless projection and used the USB connection for Android Auto and charging...
Know that if something seems off at a charger, it probably is and you should move to another one.
I took my 2023 XLT ER to Long Island from Atlanta as my first SUPER long trip this past July. The drive was 31% longer on the way up than in my previous ICE F-150 and 26% longer on the way back...
I've noticed it will do it in either sport mode or standard. If you watch the power distribution screen on the dash you'll notice that there is always a tiny bit more power going to the rear axel then the front. That's got to be how they managed to still make it feel like a rear wheel drive truck.
When I've remote-started mine on hot days, it is so loud it sounds almost like an ICE running. I would be more concerned if there were variations in the sound or something inconsistent with it. But it's probably not different than the AC on an ICE F-150, we just don't have the V6 and radiator...
2023 XLT, Pixel 5, same issues. I get one ring through the truck and then silence, and just like others have said, I switch to speaker or handset and then back to Bluetooth and the audio comes back. Good to know it's not just me or my phone.
