I’m not sure why I would unlock and start the car from anywhere in the world without knowing who was going to be taking my vehicle. Doesn’t seem like any more of a safety risk than giving someone my keys. TBH , the limitations because that’s the way ICE works is driving me crazy.

That's not intuitively true. Given remote unlock and remote start, I would expect the ability to unlock my vehicle and start it remotely so that someone could drive it from the app even if they didn't have a key. At least that's the function Start has on my Tesla Model Y. That may not have...
