So, the re-calibration process, is it for speed and/or is it for transmission shift points?

I have heard this as well and I have Apple. I have heard of disconnecting Apple car play or Anroid auto and this did not fix mine. Also setting up MyKey has not fixed it either. However, the software updates are making improvements, it seems. maybe the next update will fix it.

The return to eco, sport, etc. will always occur and the default is normal. Unfortunately, this is the logic Ford has chosen with the drive modes.

Now I have my truck back from the dealer, the OTA software update did impact the defaulting of my selections. It did not fix it but it did slow the frequency of defaulting my selections.

This evening Both the Configurable Gauge and the MY View settings did reset on the same key cycle.

The gauge settings seem to stay in the different driving modes. I have observed the custom settings staying while changing drive modes.

It has not done this while driving. As far as I can tell It happens only at start-up. However, at times, you can go through several start-ups before the reset occurs.
