its risky. I think every truck may be different depending on the state of the software currently on it. I can say my truck, like others, has been sitting at the dealership for 2 days now waiting to see if they can figure it out. Even when it runs smooth it still takes 8-12 hrs.... Just my 2cents

Just got back from the dealer. Supposedly my job1 truck got the 21G01 update. Can't seem to get BC working though. Sync did update.

Wow. does your setup do it all? Specifically, trailer cam, tpms, and the yaw sensor.

when folded in the cameras are still on but don't line up like they should. Never tried but, i suppose you could use reference marks with the camera in the folded position since they are in fact still on.

Might sound nutty but, I use tape on the ground. Once I get the truck parked where I want it, I turn on the 360 cameras and were the reference lines are I put down tape on the floor. Then each time i park, i make sure the lines in the 360 camera line up with the tape on the ground then I know...

Does this manual update on Job1 year trucks get you to the Job2 builds software status? i.e. BC, cameras on at speed, etc... I've read though the thread and am debating to take the dive. I'm currently at: Sync4: 21146 Revision 145 with a Job1 truck. Not sure what I get going the manual...

I ran into the same issue my last trip. I had run over 1200mi without an issue. The main change was mid-tow, I thought I had forgot to turn off the electric heater, so instead of opening everything up I simply flipped my battery cut off switch in the rig. All seemed fine the next 50 miles or...

my workaround is after answering the call on the screen you need to select "bluetooth" and it will switch and work. the issue is the default is "phone". there are icons on the bottom of screen after you answer the call. I will try to get a snapshot if you can't find it.

Seeing if anyone has seen this. I've always used Android Auto to connect my phone but, I've noticed that when I use my steering wheel button to answer calls all is well I can have my conversation hands free. But when I touch the "answer" on the screen it defaults to my handset (no handsfree)...

When in tow/haul mode all drive modes are selectable, i.e. 2H, 4A, 4H, etc... For normal highway towing is there a reason to use 4A vs. just 2H. Gas efficiency, control ??? I towed in both modes and didn't tell much of a difference.

For those that have bought new wheels what was the cost to harvest the original tpms sensors in your old wheels? Contemplating just buying a new set of sensors for the new wheels if the cost is comparable.
