Agree to disagree. I think your issue is totally legitimate but represents maybe 10% of the reason EV truck sales lag ICE trucks. Again if your 100% the reason is correct then max range GM truck sales should have totally displaced SR Lightning sales. How’s that working out?

Why do you think the Lightning would do better with 500 miles of range and the associated higher price? What is your example of an EV where that combo led to sales success? Critics love 400-500 mile EVs, but buyers don’t.

IMHO no. Supply seems stable after years of adding and removing shifts, and raising and lowering prices. If anything the end of the tax credit will mean supply is too high. Also the used market is pretty weak, which doesn’t suggest inventory is tight.

Tire Rack says 7.5” - 9.5” wheels; are you seeing 8”+ straight from the manufacturer? In any case width requirements are usually very conservative in my experience.

Your post has your question embedded in the quote, but the post you’re quoting lists the tire size. They are 35” tires.
