Installed for me last night. 24 Flash, purchased new almost exactly a year ago.
I have generally liked BC, if 1.4 really is that much better I will probably use it more.
I wish I had thought of this too but I have a box that should be sufficient to protect it.
One of the four 10mm bolts that you need to remove to get the shifter out is actually under the stowed position of the shifter so you should get that bolt out BEFORE you put the shifter down.
Another successful replacement. I followed Brandon Flasch's video on YT which was spot on. The factory shifter is a real beast by comparison.
I agree with other posters that getting the top trim off is a PITA but the whole thing took me about 30m.
UPDATE 6/2: Inspection reported PASS. They replaced both upper front ball joint nuts anyway. No charge. The whole thing took them about 90 minutes.

I got added to this one yesterday, appointment scheduled for Monday AM.
Just adding a note that AA performance and reliability improved significantly after the February update for ECG-24.2.5.7 which was supposed to address general performance issues. Before then I had a lot of problems with AA failing to connect, screen freezes or really bad screen update lag to...
Don't forget the $ (and time) that you save from not needing to do ICE-type maintenance like oil changes, etc.
I've owned EVs of one kind or another since 2013 and significantly lower maintenance costs is one of the best hidden benefits of owning an EV. There are just a lot fewer moving...
I got my truck last September with 90 days of BC. I decided to renew to give myself a full year with it before deciding. I'll see how much I use it in 2025. It has been useful on the few 200+ mile trips that I've done but I agree that it's not super useul for shorter ones.
I'd rather have...
I got one of those letters and I may have a similar issue with my Flash purchase last September.
They were throwing around a "rebate" of $7500 and I specifically asked them to verify that it was a Ford number and not the IRS number. When I did the paperwork I had to accept a set of Ford...
About 1000 lbs of bio-bricks for our woodstove. I needed to restock before the cold weather moves in today and a local ag supply place had plenty in stock (and on sale!)
Yes I got the ratchet strap set up correctly to keep things from sliding around before hitting the road.
I love this thing.
This is a great thread!
Since it doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet, I only discovered a few days ago that there are two additional USB-C power connectors in the center console's storage area.
Bought a 2024 Flash in September and I love it so far. I'm up to about 3k miles.
I've noticed when I'm getting out of the vehicle that the driver's seat seems to shift a bit side-to-side with a small metallic clunk like it's slightly loose in its bolts.
Yesterday after a short trip I tried...
Another vote for the ChargePoint Home Flex and especially for checking with your power company.
My power company (Eversource CT) gave me a $500 rebate for the charger, almost exactly what I paid for it, and an additional $1k for having it professionally installed. I also get a small discount...
New member, new owner, new Flash. I did a ton of research before buying and I'm thrilled. Looking forward to lots of fun and learning good stuff from this forum.
This week's project list: Weatherproof floor mats, dashcam, tonneau cover, and an outdoor/upgraded L2 charger to replace our...
