I put the AMP step on my truck and am very happy with it. Not the cheapest solution but way cheaper than a new tailgate and more convenient than carrying a step stool around.
Nokian makes an excellent dedicated snow tire in 33" and I think Cooper might as well. You can find larger with the snowflake symbol (Toyo ATIII, Falken AT3W, Duratrac, etc) but I haven't found any dedicated snow tires in those sizes.
Has anyone found mounting brackets for front bumper lights? I'm looking to install either the ARB Solis (https://arbusa.com/driving-lights/arb-intensity-lights/) or Lightforce Genesis (https://www.lightforce.com/en_us/genesis-led-driving-light) driving lights to my '21 Powerboost but not 100%...
Haven't driven them much in the wet to have solid feedback unfortunately. The Duratracs were pretty sketchy in the wet though. I can't imagine the Toyo would be worse and I'm expecting (hoping?) it to be better.
Still quite a few months to go here before I'll get a chance to test out wet...
Not familiar with the ProComps but have had Duratracs in the past and running the Toyo ATIII now on my Powerboost. Super happy with the Toyos - much more than the Duratrac. In addition the snow performance of the A/T III is great - light years ahead of the Duratrac.
Check this thread out with info I received from the local ARE dealer: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/bed-cap-install-wiring-issues.7353/post-129994
I've had similar issues with past vehicles. It was always resolved with either replacing the cable or cleaning out the lint/dust that got in to the charging port of the phone.
Nice!
If you do decide to use the GPS method to fine tune it you can get the correct hex values from this thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/how-to-use-forscan-to-recalibrate-speedometer-for-bigger-tires.1503/
I would use that as a starting point and then if it is still off use the GPS method. The tire size calculation worked for my new tires but with my buddies we needed to adjust slightly via GPS.
It could be worse . . . I received a notice last week that my Powerboost received an update - to 1.6.0. Then two days later I received an notice that I received another update - to 1.4.0.
I'm headed in the wrong direction. Ha.
Yep, that's the one. Two reasons I went with RAS over airbags. The first was cost - RAS was quite a bit cheaper (and simpler). The second was the biggest one though - while airbags might handle the heavier loads better they will ultimately restrict your suspension travel when off road (by...
Check out the Rapid Active Suspension (RAS) springs. I added them to my Powerboost right before getting the GFC installed and I’ve noticed almost no squat. I will be putting in a single Truckvault drawer this week so we’ll see how that impacts it but I’m not imagining much of a difference.
I...
Having the same issue with that adapter. Could never get it to read past the OBDII module like yourself. I sent it back to Amazon and had them send me a new one thinking it was a bad cable but the issue persists. I ended up using an older cable that my buddy had with the manual switch which is...
Yep, have a '21. I did take the mirrors out (super easy to do, angle them up and out and they just pull right out) but even with that I did brake the bottom tabs on the chrome ones.
Here is the word I got from Fox this afternoon:
"The goal is to start releasing products for the 2021 F150 by the end of the year. There have been more challenges in developing product the last year and a half than ever before and we are coming to market later than we hoped. Hopefully we are...
