I believe adding the battery tender helped to keep the 12 V battery charged for the 1.4 update. I watched the voltage through my car scan the battery tender did a great job of keeping the voltage up automatically.
My 2024 tried to update last Thursday. It failed got a message to try again at next scheduled time I did a upgrade now but first hooked up my battery tender to the 12v battery the update to 1.4 took 1 1/2 hours
I had this done. They check the torq if it’s in spec they change the nuts. If they are loose they change the ball joints. Mine were fine they changed the nuts and torque them.
With today’s update, I now have karaoke. Also the navigation is way better. Apple Maps now shows chargers when it didn’t before among other things I’m sure it might take another day for it to fill up with whatever else so so far so good.

I got my A2Z NACS to J1772 adapter looks well built the only thing that made me nervous was on the box no where did it say A2Z? The white box said made in china! And the case it came in does not have the A2Z logo on it… I guess I will keep my fingers crossed.
Yeah, that’s what I’m banking on, but I just have to be covered. Just wanna make sure that our trip goes as smooth as possible without too many glitches shouldn’t be an issue.
It appears that a lot of hotels use Tesla destination chargers. I will mainly use level 3 DCFC but what the ability to use level 2 if needed
