  1. POLL: trade your frunk for a generator?

Nope. Love the frunk. Put in more drive through charging stations and that solves the problem.
  2. Embarrassed

Why would I be embarrassed driving the best vehicle I’ll probably ever own?
  3. Will You be upgrading to the Lightning EREV?

I’m hoping to just drive my flash for the next 20 years and then I’ll be to old to drive or playing a harp.
  4. Xmas lightning

I saw a Lightning yesterday that had a wreath on the frunk. Got me wondering if anyone has strung Xmas lights on their truck to celebrate the season.
  5. Share Your Pipeline to F-150 Lightning. G'on. It's Thanksgiving...

My first car was a Ford fiesta which nearly always topped 40 mpg when that was really rare. I think every vehicle I’ve had since then has gotten just a little worse mpg. I waited 3 years for Ford to work out its lightning bugs. Realizing now that that’s probably never going to fully happen, I’m...
  6. Tire life

Just had my 30,000 mile checkup and the original tires still have 9/32nds. I asked them to check again as this seemed unlikely but they were correct. So much for EV tires not lasting. Our ICE CRV had to have new tires about 25,000 miles.
  7. The Lightning is amazing in the snow

Anyone know if older than 2025 models will get slippery mode as a choice at some point?
  8. Tri-Fold vs. Sliding Tonneau Cover

Seems like everyone likes and recommends the one that they use.
  9. Tri-Fold vs. Sliding Tonneau Cover

I like the sliding version a lot. You do lose some bed space but for me it’s worth the trade.
  10. Price per KW to charge at home🏠

$0.068 from 8 pm to 8 am. It’s higher at other times but never charge then. That’s offset by selling my solar back at $0.12
  11. Lightning totaled

I’d go Lightning g again. Absolutely love my flash.
  12. Farley doesn’t get enough credit

I’m in the middle of a long road trip and just yesterday I said thank you Jim Farley. As a retired couple, traveling this way is a dream. We really spent no more time at the chargers than we would have to fill up with gas, stretch, go to the bathroom and grab a quick bite from the cooler. The...
  13. Preparing for road trip

Thanks everyone! Great advice. Besides making sure my tires are properly inflated anything I should have checked on the truck?
  14. Preparing for road trip

I love road trips. We’ve driven across the country many times but this will be the first time not in an ICE vehicle. I know what to do to prep for that trip. What should I do to prep for a 4000 mile Lightning trip?
  15. Best app for road trip planning MN to FL.

Do you use the free version or subscribe?
  16. Best app for road trip planning MN to FL.

What is the best app that you have found for road trips. I assume it will plan out chargers so you don’t get too close to 0. Also preconditioning the battery would be nice. I’ve got 20,000 miles but have only charged at home.
  17. Recall 24S76/25V341 - recall for Ball Joints NUTS missing

Had mine done last week when they rotated tires. They actually picked it up at my house did the work and returned it. Since I’m about 20 miles away I appreciated this.
  18. Instrument Cluster Has Gone Dark: FIX post 19

Another victim of the dark console (sounds like the bad guys in a sci fi movie). It’s been raining here since mid may so I originally thought that must have been the culprit. I’ll try the wait awhile, different key fob, pull 13, lvb disconnect and dealer. Hope it resolved on one of the early...
  19. Just because

I pulled my bulky pontoon about 25 miles the other day and didn’t even notice it. I’ve borrowed others ICE pickups to tow it before and it felt like I was pulling a sled.
  20. Regularly Charge to 100%?

I was doing a quick fast charge at Ford last week and chatted with an employee charging one of their vehicles. I was expressing my satisfaction with my Flash and he said Ford really went above and beyond with the battery and they’re starting to realize just how long these things may last.
