UL Cert is not my hold-up. However, if an item receives UL Cert, meets my requirements / good reviews, and is (significantly) cheaper than the competition, then I will likely buy it.

I've been researching these adapters... and recently the UL2252 standard has appeared.
Some will portray it as a "cheap knock-off" but Amazon FTSLVHi claims to be UL2252 certified, and from a quick look appears to resemble the original Ford supplied adapter, and the Rivian one.

Picked up new 2024 Flash 17th Nov, and helpful member here looked up it was due quite a few updates. First one arrived OTA 3rd Dec, and 3 more subsequently I have seen. The link at the start of thread worked for me, and shows all these updates and 1 more i.e. just to show the link can work...
