The Lightning, just like the standard F-150 is 79.9" wide. Legal requirement for the marker lights is 80". That does not include the fender flares or mirrors.

My hat is off to you. This just happened to me tonight, and sure enough pulling the battery worked like a charm. Had to sign up to say thank you, and hopefully learn some more along the way.
