If we are adding gripes to the list - a default volume setting for the infotainment each time you start the truck. My Audi had thisā¦and there have been a few times that my other half drove the truck and I started it to find the volume at 14 š±
This is the way. My electrician is installing a HIS at someone elseās home and itās been a 9 month ordeal. I said no thanks and had him install a 30 amp generator plug with an interlock on my panel. I can power my whole place (well pump, heat pump water heater, lights, fridge, and all three...
Interesting. This was happening before I got the WAL BCM update - granted, I park about 8 feet from my couch. But even after the truck is off and I have exited the vehicle, my phone stays connected to the truckās WiFi. Normally this wouldnāt be a problem, but I live in an area with no cellular...
So I just got BCM-24.5.1 OTAā¦havenāt gone out to the truck yet but will soon - is this the BCM update that previously people had to get installed by the dealer?
I park literally in front of my couch at my cabin, and WAL was just enabled via OTA on my truck 2 days ago. I use PAAK, and both fobs...
I have to say, Iāve seen moreā¦comprehensive reviews. One example - he folded the shifter down, but didnāt flip the workspace platform over to show why you would fold the shifter down. His gripe about the tailgateā¦I get it, but he also failed to mention that higher trims have power tailgates...
Just to answer my own question, I unplugged the truck so the FCSP could log the charge event - no, it didnāt use that much energy - the charge is about 1kWh higher than normal for my drive yesterday.
I thought this was interesting - I was at about 83% when I plugged in yesterday, before the BC 1.4 update started. Did that update really use 220kWh of energy? If soā¦thatās a lot of juice for the angry bumblebees.
What model year and trim do you have? A lot of us are waiting for this to roll out OTA and youāre the first I think Iāve heard of getting it OTA since the big push a few weeks ago.
Mine does this on specific roads - notably Corridor H which is also known as WV 48/55. The speed limit is 65, and there are many 48/55 signs along the 20 mile stretch I frequently drive, but one sign in particular it always misreads as a speed limit sign, causing the brakes to slam to drop me...
Terrain - climbing mountains takes energy, and what goes up must come down, I donāt think the regen captures the same amount of energy doing down X feet at x speed as the truck used to go up x feet at x speed. I also am not aware that altitude makes a difference to the battery efficiency...
Well that doesnāt start with T, so Iām not including that. But letās throw it under temperament, since the faster you drive, the more wind resistance you generate.
Driving around the quaint city of Winchester, VA to run errands, I can get 3+ driving 25-35MPH. Leaving my cabin and heading the other direction and crossing the eastern continental divide going from 2,000ft to 3,400ft above sea level (and up and down and around bends) I average 1.2 at 70MPH...
I posted a story here a few months ago about pulling a FedEx delivery truck out of a ditch (winter, slipped on ice, ended up very stuck in a drainage ditch). The Lightning didnāt even hesitate pulling it out - no tire chatter, no whine of the motorsā¦it was like I was pulling a roll of paper...
Drove to Indiana from WV to visit my old man last week; stopped at two different Meijer locations. The stores are a lot nicer than they were when I lived in the Midwest! They got my snack money, and a bathroom visit.
