Not sure why my dealer called me and is coming to my house Tuesday to fix this recall if everyone is saying it is not available. I had them double check and they said it is out. I will update when it is done. From the email.

My dealer called me today and said they can come out to my house and fix it in my driveway. I had her confirm the fix is available and she said it was. They are coming out Tuesday.
I supposed the issue is the new type of motor in the verge, because it is in the wheel the only way to measure it is rear wheel torque. There is no “crank” measurement. The “Ultra” model says 2.5 second 0-60 with 885 ft lbs. it becomes a question of grip for short distances like this.

The Honda CBR600RR produces around 44-48 lb-ft (59-65 Nm) of torque, peaking at high RPMs, typically between 10,900 and 11,500 rpm, depending on the year and source, with figures like 44.1 lb-ft (2021), 48 lb-ft (older models), or 47.2 lb-ft (2024) being cited for its ~600cc inline-four engine...
The BMW i3 was a generator as well, it was the only part of the car that had issues. Gasoline engines don’t like to sit idle for long periods of no use. BMW pressurized the gas tank to try and maintain the freshness of the gasoline(keep water out), but it still had issues with that system as...
That’s disappointing. I don’t need two powertrains. I got rid of my i3 REX and went to an i3 BEV when range got to 150 miles. Maintaining the gas engine was the worst part of the Rex.
The current truck meets my needs now. I’m not towing across the country. It just needs a little faster charging.
2024’s have BC 1.3, so I have lane change and it does work great. I am just looking for it to stop asking me to hold the wheel on Interstate’s when there is a turn. It is also weird the way that it asks you to hold on when you go through a toll gantry. I guess 1.4 doesn’t change that.
