I am sure this is a common problem not limited to EVs, but my 23 Lariat smells awful after rain or going through a car wash tunnel. I've replaced the cabin filter to no avail. Service center tells me this isn't something covered under warranty and tried to sell me a service.
Have you had this...
Perhaps it's a time of use thing where it's based on a profitability per kWh. I usually have rates at about $0.03-$0.05/kWh, but yesterday it was $0.48 for one hour. If they just program the unit to say they need to make 4x the current cost, maybe that's how they're getting something like that...
OK, you were right about the first part - ICE Mustang.
The second part, however... This looks like part of CarPlay, not SYNC. Am I wrong?
That climate widget could be for the person's home, too...
This article earlier today was more bearish on Ford and the other legacy autos that had signed on. Sounds like they got clarification that Kia, Hyundai and Genesis were new additions and not the only confirmed CarPlay ultra supporters

Same issue. Missed an update due to LVB being low on the lot when I took delivery.
I took it to the dealer for a CSP and they took care of it while in for that visit. It took about 10 days, and they had to escalate pretty far up at Ford, but it eventually got updated and I'm running BC 1.4 now.
Just wanting to share where my hiccup in this process was.
You have to add it on the phone when CarPlay is active. So next time you get in your car, try opening the maps app on your phone after CarPlay connects.
I was trying to do it while just sitting around in the evening and couldn't get...
I had a CSP for the heated steering wheel a few weeks back and was having major issues with my SYNC system. I told them and they had to keep it about another week and get help from several escalation levels at Ford, but eventually I got the truck back and am up to date with no issues. Even...
I think if you just focused on having a robust infotainment system, you would fix so many of the issues. EV enthusiasts are in essence tech enthusiasts.
Does anyone know why the clock at the top bar doesn't adopt the CarPlay time when it is connected? My wife pointed out that the time shown in CarPlay doesn't always match the onboard clock and now I can't un-see it. In all of my other vehicles I've never run into this issue.
Has anyone else...
I wouldnāt advise doing this but if youāre dead set on it, buy a used one. Rolling negative equity into a new vehicle that will depreciate into more negative equity is a bad idea. Youāll deaden some of that with a used one.
We were limited to used cars because we donāt qualify for the credit, and Iām not willing to take a 5 figure hit on day 1.
Our ideal vehicle is the R1S. But no CarPlay was a big drawback for us and the driver autonomy platform lacking was what kept us away. The backup camera was improved for...
Thanks. Right - we are having that issue despite having our phones linked to our profiles. A minor inconvenience, but would still like to see if anyone has had success.
Is there a way to set up CarPlay such that there is a phone tied to the driver profile. So if we both get in the car, it doesn't default to the last phone but rather to profile chosen?
I feel like my wife and I constantly have to change whose phone is connected manually
