Nice write up! Thanks for sharing with the community. With your attention to detail, you almost could moonlight as a Lightning travel agent! ;-) Now that's an idea...
My first 'Lightning doing truck stuff' post...Had the pleasure of using the truck's Pro Power Onboard to power some sawing up of old decking boards before hauling them to the local dump...
I just love the convenience of hooking up power tools to the back of the truck and not having to drag out...
I wonder if it's the same Kendall auto group that I bought my Lightning from in Marysville, WA (https://www.kendallfordmarysville.com/). Very likely...
Thanks Rich for the heads up on this service option though - sounds really convenient!
Congrats! Join the AM Blue club! Great color. Can’t wait to see your pics - especially when you start adding your mods, which I’m sure you will after this long wait!
Glad you liked it. When the truck is really amazing, these reviews write themselves. ?
I do think keeping speeds down was the real reason why I was able to get my efficiency where it ended up. It’s tough though as this thing wants to really book! Cruise control is absolute necessity on these...
Good tips Ncev! Yeah, I know I was lucky with this garage entry. I may opt to keep a measure tape handy next time I’m uncertain with their quoted height. ?
Glad to help! Good luck on you journey…Hope you have better weather though! ? The Tesla Supercharger station in Blaine at the truck crossing was really convenient too - nearly a dozen chargers and a slightly cheaper rate than what I got in Canada, so fill up there if you can.

Hi all -
Just got back from a 400+ mile round trip from Seattle area to Whistler (BC) for a family ski vacation and wanted to share some thoughts...
Like mrtyndall in his recent post, this was my first significant road trip in my relatively new '24 Lightning Lariat (leased in mid-Jan this...
Great write up, Rick. Thanks for sharing...I too did a trip to the mountains in my new F-150 Lariat last weekend (Seattle to Lake Wenatchee and then back to Steven's Pass resort) and the truck's range held up pretty well all considering the low temps (mostly in the teens from the pass East). I...
Thanks for the tips Rick! I’ve got the Emporia installation scheduled for next Tuesday. Can’t wait…In the meantime, I’m checking out the local Tesla Supercharger.
Hi all -
I'm a new the community, having only been lurking for a few weeks while I decided on what Lightning trim to eventually jump for - and what offers were out there with local Seattle area dealers.
Well, just last week I found this beauty on a dealer lot and pulled the plug! F-150...
