  1. Pro Power Onboard - preferences?

When you say you use a 120v adapter, do you mean you’re hooking your 12v plug from your dash cam into the adapter and then plugging that in the 120v socket to make sure it stays on all day? I have issues with my 12v ā€œcigarette lighterā€ plug not being on all the time.
  2. Hansshow NACS to CCS1 Extension Cable

Yeah I’m double parking before I buy a $600 sketchy extension cord lol
  3. Sunroof Lariat

Main reason I went with a Flash instead of a Lariat. Wish they made a Lariat without the moonroof and back window, would be perfect.
  4. Method 321 wheels + Toyo Open Country AT III EV tires + Eibach Front Shocks

The Eibach shocks have settings from 0ā€ to 2.6ā€ lift that you can use to level the truck. It sounds like he set them to the 4th setting which is 2.1ā€ lift, which mostly levels the truck.
  5. Method 321 wheels + Toyo Open Country AT III EV tires + Eibach Front Shocks

Looks great! Thank you for the data. Sounds like you went through what I’m going through right now… bought 22ā€ wheels with 35ā€ tires, put Eibach shocks on the front and set them to the highest position. The wheel offset makes the tires poke out a bit, and the setup is heavy. Getting 1.4-1.5 on...

  7. Lowered Rapid Red Lightning - Photos / Reviews?

I don’t have anything to add other than if you replace just your front shocks with aftermarkets like Eibachs or Bilsteins, it will remove the boaty feel and stiffen it up a bit. I did it to mine and even though it’s a bit stiffer, I prefer it over the ā€œI feel like I’m driving a crown vic boatā€ ride.
  8. Ford Rear Splash Guards install on Lightning Flash

Love it! Wonder if you use a clear coat pen if it’d last a bit longer. May do this to mine as well!
  9. Ford Rear Splash Guards install on Lightning Flash

Same. Love that they say Lightning instead of Ford too.
  10. Initial range after charge well below advertised range- 2025 Flash

2024 Flash ERs have 143.4kWh capacity, but only 131kWh is useable. 2025 Flash ERs have ~134kWh capacity, but only 123kWh is useable. Edit: To add, there are apparently some 2025 Flashes out there with the 143.4kWh battery. The change was made mid-production at some point.
  11. Initial range after charge well below advertised range- 2025 Flash

Doesn’t the 2025 Flash have a smaller battery? (122kWh) edit: missed the post above me before I posted
  12. Another example of 12V Battery causing bizarre issues.

This is why I keep a charged jump starter in the truck. Heard too many stories like this and don’t want to be walking or towed.
  13. Leveled Lightnings ? Anybody got before and after pics?

2.6in front ā€œlevelā€ using Eibach shocks set to the highest position. Wheels are 22ā€ (22X10 FUEL OFF-ROAD FLAME 6 BLK) and tires are 34.4ā€ (LT285/55R-22 FALKEN WILDPEAK R/T01 HD HEAVY DUTY E). The wheels have a -18 offset, so I had to do some trimming on the front (fenders, back of the wheel...
  14. Front Eibach shocks + LT285 /60 R20 = 3" level

I did not. The Eibach package I bought was supposedly designed for the Lightning, and it doesn’t say replacing the UCAs is necessary for any of the ring positions. I took it to the dealership for an alignment after the work was done and asked them to look at it and they didn’t seem to think...
  15. Front Eibach shocks + LT285 /60 R20 = 3" level

Did the same to mine with the Eibach pro truck front shocks set to the highest ring position (2.6ā€ lift). Spring compression was a fun project. But it really took the floatyness out of the ride, and it’s a bit stiffer now, which I prefer. I have the back Eibach shocks too, but I’m not in hurry...
  16. Add a Subwoofer to your Lightning

Wow, great write-up/guide. I’m not going to do all that, but it will most certainly help anyone that wants to upgrade their system!
  17. Custom Lightning šŸ›»

Interested in details on those fender flairs..!
  18. Use 360 cameras for security.

While I’d love it if Ford cameras worked like Sentry mode, that probably isn’t going to happen ever, so just get something like this and hardwire it. Sure, you won’t be able to stream from it remotely, but it will capture everything around your truck if anyone approaches. https://a.co/d/6DTjzHf
