They really need to let you order a Lariat or Platinum without the damn moonroof. I wanted a Lariat but settled on a Flash because I absolutely did not want the damn moonroof.
Sorry you guys with moonroofs are dealing with the leak and smell issues. This is exactly why I went with a 2024 Flash over a Lariat, read too many of these threads. I wanted ventilated seats but decided the trade off of not having a moonroof and sliding back glass to deal with was worth not...
I run the Ford Pro Charger wire under my garage door using a 3d printed wire protector (U shaped PLA plastic, covers the wire and supports the weight of the door). Since the wire is so thick, there is an ever so slight opening on either side of the protector where the door seal doesn’t touch the...
When you say you use a 120v adapter, do you mean you’re hooking your 12v plug from your dash cam into the adapter and then plugging that in the 120v socket to make sure it stays on all day? I have issues with my 12v “cigarette lighter” plug not being on all the time.
The Eibach shocks have settings from 0” to 2.6” lift that you can use to level the truck. It sounds like he set them to the 4th setting which is 2.1” lift, which mostly levels the truck.
Looks great! Thank you for the data. Sounds like you went through what I’m going through right now… bought 22” wheels with 35” tires, put Eibach shocks on the front and set them to the highest position. The wheel offset makes the tires poke out a bit, and the setup is heavy. Getting 1.4-1.5 on...
I don’t have anything to add other than if you replace just your front shocks with aftermarkets like Eibachs or Bilsteins, it will remove the boaty feel and stiffen it up a bit. I did it to mine and even though it’s a bit stiffer, I prefer it over the “I feel like I’m driving a crown vic boat” ride.
2024 Flash ERs have 143.4kWh capacity, but only 131kWh is useable.
2025 Flash ERs have ~134kWh capacity, but only 123kWh is useable.
Edit: To add, there are apparently some 2025 Flashes out there with the 143.4kWh battery. The change was made mid-production at some point.
2.6in front “level” using Eibach shocks set to the highest position. Wheels are 22” (22X10 FUEL OFF-ROAD FLAME 6 BLK) and tires are 34.4” (LT285/55R-22 FALKEN WILDPEAK R/T01 HD HEAVY DUTY E). The wheels have a -18 offset, so I had to do some trimming on the front (fenders, back of the wheel...
I did not. The Eibach package I bought was supposedly designed for the Lightning, and it doesn’t say replacing the UCAs is necessary for any of the ring positions. I took it to the dealership for an alignment after the work was done and asked them to look at it and they didn’t seem to think...
