I use the fluid control button to get it to wipe once all the time. Super easy. Just push the button once and the wipers do one pass. I assumed that was intentional, but maybe not?
Either way, it works.
It's such an incredible road trip truck! I recently did a solo 4200 mile trip. Had a plug-in cooler in the back packed full of food. I used Tesla everywhere I could and didn't experience a single issue (thankfully). I had to use EA once and they let me down. Thankfully there was a Rivian charger...
As much as I'd love to have CarPlay Ultra, that climate icon in your first screenshot is the HomeKit climate icon.
Apple has standard icons for design continuity, so the second screenshot is CarPlay Ultra (like you said). The first icon is just showing HomeKit control for current climate...
I roll up the middle flap when possible (you can tell by the lack of dirt on flap). The flap is big enough to expose all the lights. You can leave the flap up even fully loaded with bikes if necessary, but youād get some tire marks on the tailgate from the middle bikes.
At times I had five...
I did quite a bit of research for a Lightning specific tailgate pad and came up empty. To my knowledge there is not a specific Lightning pad.
For what it's worth, the Yakima I got (in my profile picture) fits and works great. I'm very happy with it.
Bought a ā22 Platinum buyback in January with 20K miles on it.
Three weeks ago I did a 4200 mile roundtrip road trip in it and it was amazing.
I love this truck and would never hesitate buying another Ford buyback in the future.
Enjoy your truck!
A Rivian charger saved me during a recent 4200 mile round trip excursion. Pulled up to an EA station in Eastern Colorado, and about five minutes in the station just died. The entire bank of four stopped communicating. I'm assuming EA was having a larger issue, because I couldn't get customer...
I purchased a buyback ā22 Platinum back in January and I could not possibly be happier. I did my homework and also purchased the extended warranty.
Iām currently typing this at a Tesla Supercharger during my return trip of a 4,300 mile roundtrip road trip to Moab, UT from Maryland.
Truck has...
I've had two of these for a while and I love them. They work great. I have Mustang Garage Door and Lightning Garage Door.
For me it's not a problem because each vehicle stays in their own side and we dont' swap vehicles very often. So the Lightning door pops up for me in the truck, and the...
I have a '23 Mach E GT, and just bought a '22 Lightning Platinum. My Mach E gets about 50% more range in similar conditions on the highway.
I'm with the rest, either there's something wrong with your Mach E, or you're not using the same base conditions for both vehicles.
I feel for you, OP. I put $30K down on my Mach E GT and am upside down on it. I love the car, though, so I don't mind as much since I have no desire in trading it in/selling it.
I am glad I didn't follow through on my Lightning reservation back in '22. I just bought a used '22 Platinum with 20K...
I bought my ā22 used back in January, and it had WAL. I didnāt even know a lot of these trucks didnāt have it! Thatās wild.
No BC 1.4, though. Iām taking a 4200 mile roadtrip in early May, so I really hope I get it before then.
I don't feel like Ford has any real incentive to do this. It would likely take a massive capital investment to build that out, and people are buying their EVs without it, so I doubt they'll do that.
I'd love it, though.
Find a truck that has what you want and then do your homework. Look at the Carfax and it will tell you what the truck was bought back for. The dealership can also provide you with proof of repairs. In my experience most of the buybacks were part shortages on recalls/customer satisfaction...
Haha! Good name!
Was that tonneau cover on when you bought it, or did you get it after? Mine was supposed to include it, according to their website, but my guess is the original owner kept it. They ended up knocking $1,000 off the price since they advertised it with one. I then bought the REV...
