Taking mine in on Wednesday... but gotta stay legal (35%). I wanted the sunroof tinted but starting reading all of the tint causes the sunroof to crack and decided to leave it alone. I don't think Ford tinted the Sunroof dark enough. I never have the shade open during the day.
Remote Start?? It's Electric
I want to remotely view camera's, have blinker cameras, maybe even YouTube on CarPlay when charging.
You guys know that Tesla's have no start button, no keys. You know all of that silly ICE stuff can go away.
Backhistory: I bought new wheels and tires for my 24 lightning (Lariat trim) (Bought it in March 2025) at my local Discount Tire. I spent a lot of time (spreadsheets) comparing the various wheel and tire combo's that I wanted. I did ION 143 wheels (28 lbs) and Ridge Grapplers tires for the look...
I realized this was a stupid question.... If fits... until you open the sunroof, then it's in the way.
BUT it fits on the dash.
It has a perfect view of the sky
Picture (Lots of reflection of the crap in my shop) looking down on the front windshield.
Which gets great results.
Looks...
Just picked up a Starlink mini to install on my sunroof. Anyone know if it fits under the sunroof shade? Any install picks?
Edit: I realized this was a stupid question.... If fits... until you open the sunroof, then it's in the way.
Home-Link is an easy add-on for $100. The Audio System can be upgraded for a few hundred dollars depending on how far you want to go. The Massagers in the seats I thought were horrible, in the truck I drove the rollers just STOP when they are turned off. You could have leather seats installed...
I did put in the numbers... I didn't put a sticker on it and go through the trailer pro learning however. I did this with my little trailer and OMG that was a chore. I pulled into a HUGE parking lot and I think I drove every inch of it.
I do love the find the hitch feature.
Took my RMAX out for a ride yesterday. (Maybe 3000 lbs). Range drops drastically.... I was getting 1.6 miles per KW with 70 mile range being shown. My girl says, wow that's it? To which I said it's not accurate at all. @ 1.6 x 90% would have been 185 miles. So she says you have to do the math...
Nothing you will find will match the space the F150 offers. I am 6-2 and with my seat all the way back (though I wish it went lower) I can fit real adults in every seat. If the Cybertruck had rear leg room I might have went that direction (I had one for a weekend). The F150 has a very soft ride...
I just bought my Lightning... YES $970 + $200 for personal plates.
In Oregon $316 if the vehicle is all electric.
The higher your MPG is the MORE you pay.
My $970 Is for 4 years and does include Title and plate fee. The $316 is every 2 years. The County I live in also add's $112 every 2 years.
Went back to Discount Tire this morning and after another TPMS swap to the correct 433 Mhz sensors, they gave up and gave my $269 back for the price of the sensors. What they sell isn't compatible with my Ford. My Ford doesn't see the sensors, not does my TPMS scanner. So I have ordered a set of...
The LT tire shown above is 54.48 lbs (vs 47.22 for the 20') but if you did the XL spec tire (Not the LT) it drops to 43.41 lbs.
I went with the same size as I didn't want to redo the speedo. The stock tire is rght at 33" and you'd have to go up to a 285 to get close to that (slightly under...
Going in Wednesday to get them changed out. I asked the question, since you have both sets of tires, why don't your techs scan the old tires to make sure they are the correct ones?
The response was their scanners don't do that (WHAT?)
I'm not in the tire business and my $200 Autel scanner...
