You would think that glass is glass but after replacing glass on a couple of cars that went well over 200k mi, The replacements, 3 total, got the pits much quicker than the originals. The cars were a PT Cruiser, a Miata and a Ford Festiva (KIA). I've tried several things to clear it up with no...
Im fine with what I have EXCEPT that center speaker. Do folks disconnect or cover it with something. I'm leary about disconnecting it due to an amp being harmed powering an open circuit.
Realizing this is an old thread. Tonneau from my '23 Powerboost ($149). Soft lowering tailgate shock. Bed step usable tailgate up or down. Mud flaps, the '23 ones didn't work. Hanging files for the console. Covers for the forward console. Dash cams fore and aft. Good phone holder.
Good review. I agree with most of it, particularly the manual frunk. The rake and the soft front suspension don't bother me at all. The size really bothers me but when I need the interior space, payload or towing, I can't do without. Here in the Southeast I can usually beat gas on a road trip...
The EGO mower is fine but won't cut the acre and a half on a charge as advertised on 4 10AH batteries (it holds 6). Not as quiet as you would think. Don't get 2nd party batteries despite their being 1/4th the price. The lack of a full cut is not a problem as I have other things to do.
I can...
Holy ____ (insert your favorite expletive). I did the first bit of my trip and stopped to charge. When I got back to the car, I had EV route planning in AA. I haven't really looked at it much yet but I think it will be good. Im so used to the way I plan, I likely won't use it for a while but...
Always needed a truck (gentleman's farm); had a 2019 Niro PHEV and loved it. Wife wanted red so the 2023 Niro PHEV is red. Gave the truck (2000 Ranger 3.0) to the son in law and towed it to NY with my new to me '23 Powerboost. There was a lot to like about the powerboost but IMHO Ford did not...
Im really excited now. As you can see I'm easily amused. Taking a 600+ mile road trip tomorrow. As disappointed as I have been with software and customer service as it relates to software, I have to always add how pleased I am with the truck otherwise. Wonderful machine!
Drop in bed liners. It has the Ford label but I know the dealer had it installed at the local Rhino store. Seems satisfactory but I haven't really put it to the test.
For me, the only way to insure the Tesla pricing is to disable Blue Oval. On several occasions I have been charged the BO prices despite my attempts to use Tesla pricing. Probably user error but I also suspect connectivity issues.
My problems with road trip charging are competition and price...
My assumption is that if the green charge measure doesn't touch the end of its space, the pads aren't used. This seems to equate exactly with the brake coach indicating 100%. I went to great lengths to prove this to myself with my plug in hybred even to measuring brake temp after a long...
Yes those insurance companies don't build office buildings, hire employees, including lawyers by paying out more than they take in. I have always been of the opinion that, if you can afford the loss, you are better off self insuring. The notable exception is liability where a lawyer may be...
That is certainly the other point of view but if you saw that video and the one where the damage was done it is likely that the "common sense" point of view might well be the video author's. EV trust and knowledge will come but it's still in its infancy. Significally, the company in question is...
Thanks, I have never encountered that situation but my area of road tripping so far is limited to TN, VA, NC, PA, MD, NJ, NY and CT. Does the Tesla app tell you of a 250+KW charger when limited to Tesla only?
Maybe that's what it takes in a '25. Thanks for posting it! I've spent many hours chasing after it since it was announced. I've pretty well written it off as something Ford just isn't going to give me.
Try the Supercharger a North Myrtle Beach. Someone planted bushes between the chargers and getting close enough between chargers means you have to literally crush the nose into those bushes.
But I shouldn't complain. I didn't buy an EV until I could charge at Superchargers. They are cheaper...
