Yeah I was thinking the same thing. But as your using ramps the tailgate will be taking the full force of the weight before the front tires land on the bed. That’s what worries me.
So I was wondering if anyone has beefed up their tailgate cables. I’m looking at buying an Atv that weights about 1000lbs and am concerned about destroying the tailgate during loading/unloading. Not sure if there’s a product that you can swap out for something a bit more robust?
Thanks gang.
Bryce, so when I took delivery of my truck I had no issues with the disconnect. That was June of this year. About two months in, the problems started, and in addition to the CarPlay trouble, during phone calls there was interference of some sort. Dealer ran a diagnostic found a bad module of and...
Yep! That’s when this all started. Actually I upgraded to the new iOS a couple weeks ago but this disconnect began about a week ago. I wouldn’t say up to this point of ownership the wireless CarPlay has been flawless but this issue is so constant that it’s definitely smelling of a software bug.
Anyone else recently had issues with the Apple Wireless CarPlay disconnecting for no reason? Mine started a week ago and is getting progressively worse. Done the usual stuff; reset phone and rebooted Sync. Took out the phone on Bluetooth and reinstalled. Kinda at my wits end now.
Do you primarily use ABRP to locate your charge stops? I ran into a weird issue the other day. We were up near 29 Palms and found this casino with a Tesla charge spot (not available to us, Tesla only) and the Ford Navi map clearly showed it, but it also showed a secondary set of chargers on the...
Wow. We used to do Bishop and Mammoth every year for fishing and camping. I was wondering about charge locations off the 39 in case we decide to make the trip again. I no longer have an RV to camp so RV campsites would be of no use to me. Sounds like you had a very productive trip.
