I greatly appreciate your offer! That would be a huge help for me, and I would be able to get it installed that much sooner.
I suppose you could chalk it up under the guise of the LX6Z-7P155-U, along with the link to the seller I previously provided. Beyond that, yeah...there is no "official"...
I had time to do an install and revert back today. Your prediction is dead-on! It is motorized with an ambient light base. No error codes, just plug-and-play. I feel like I won the rotary shifter lottery with how cheap I was able to purchase it for considering what prices for this part have done...
Based on what you and I are seeing, would you attempt plugging it in? The seller had quite a few of them and sold out at that price. Plus, their rating is really good, so I felt that they are pretty reputable. I'm always worried about the "what if"? I don't want to cause any irreversible damage...

I am going to attach the eBay listing I purchased from along with an image of the part...
Apologies. I misunderstood how the motorized version worked. Thank you for explaining that. It makes perfect sense that it would do that as it poses a liability to Ford if it didn't...especially in today's day and age.
What rotary shift part number did you order? I want to do the conversion to my 2022 Platinum, but am seeing people using ALL kinds of different rotary shifters when the original route I was told to go was the Ford Escape. I really like the look of the blue glow and the ambient blue ring at the...
