  2. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

That is true too but I figure it would take a HELL of a lot of work to wear out springs.
  3. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

Yeah thats true, now that i see how its measuring it, and true about shocks... was just trying to think of things. Not sure how the sensor calibration would get wonky, as it was 1 owner before, and a construction company, so i doubt they would have messed with any software.
  4. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

A, D and E are massive oversights for any software development, the others are just wording or training issues. I'm a Software Quality Engineer for a major company, and these would have been my observations on day 1. As of right now, this is absolutely useless. A 1700 payload capability is...
  5. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

Thats exactly what im seeing, picture wise. might be a tad higher but i think its right about that. any idea why they are so high empty? Im thinking its gotta be wear on the shocks thats allowing more weight down onto the sensors. I cant think of anything else.
  6. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

i didnt have a picture handy, thats just one off the internet... mine is 1686 as well.
  7. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

Yes, BM exactly how mine is acting and what im talking about, except my green bar is up just past midway up without the passenger reminder on, and halfway up to the next line above half with it on. The scale is to zero out and weigh specific things going in. like how much does this box of junk...
  8. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

yeah thats on my list of things to try just a little further down. wondering if maybe worn shocks might be a cause? how does it sense ride height?
  9. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

well it does, cause me climbing in and out adds a chunk to it, just the initial starting value is wrong. id assume disconnecting the 12v and reconnecting it would reset all the electronics too right? cause i did that last week for something else.
  10. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

Not sure, i dont know enough about the calibration to know what it does. id be worried id cal it at '0' with something messed up and throw everything out of whack even more.
  11. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

What settings screen exactly? For the scales? Passenger load reminder on/off, the estimated weight for that set to 200.
  12. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

did both, the soft reboot and hard reset to clear all data... did not fix anything.
  13. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

no i dont know... but will look into that :)
  14. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

scale yes, vehicle payload graph no. im talking about the overall payload screen. the horizontal sliding scale one zero's every time you open it, or mine does anyway. this isnt mine, but this is the screen im talking about My max is 1700.
  15. 2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

2022 with 57k miles on it, just got it, used obviously. Going into smart scales it is showing about half the payload already taken up when the truck is empty. The estimated passenger is set to 200, and turning that estimate reminder on and off does add and subtract about 200 from the green bar...
