  1. Disable inverter shut off with no load?

Using the intermittent timer, can you plug it and the heater into the frunk but have your main load be on the bed inverter? Or do they both need to be on the same inverter to keep it from timing out?
  2. Disable inverter shut off with no load?

Thanks. Stupid we have to do that, but it’s a first world problem I suppose.
  3. Disable inverter shut off with no load?

So when tent camping with my truck, we only use phone chargers, and an electric blanket overnight. It’s not enough to keep the inverter running and it will power off even though it’s set to run till it hits 15%. I have the option set to run while the truck is off. Can you disable it shutting...
  4. Raptor vs Lightning: the numbers

Maybe on paper, but I have first hand experience racing my brother in law's Raptor R in my Lariat. With 5 people in my truck I smoked him.
  5. Spare batteries in bed charging the truck

Would be cool if the guy who is doing the generator bed conversion implemented a version for a battery pack as well. Even better, make a kit to use a junkyard Leaf battery or something.
  6. Raptor vs Lightning: the numbers

Dove a little deeper and added maintenance and my typical driving over a three year period.
  7. Raptor vs Lightning: the numbers

    Good point!
  8. Raptor vs Lightning: the numbers

I asked chat gpt to analyze my typical driving over a years time with my old raptor vs my lightning as I was curious what my time waiting for charging vs going to a gas station…
  9. Qmerit install - $338 for "Permitting"

I declined the bid, and the installer emailed me and asked why. I told him the "permit fee" seemed excessive. He replied: "You're right Lance. I agree with you. But it's actually much cheaper than CA where my other office is. The thing is that is not only the permit fee. It's everything...
  10. Qmerit install - $338 for "Permitting"

$338 for "Permitting" Doesn't that seem excessive?
  11. House back up with 50amp RV outlet

I didn't ask if it was frowned upon, I'm not dumb enough to put the male end in my mouth while it's hot, I asked if it would work with the Lightning.
  12. House back up with 50amp RV outlet

So my Lightning charger plugs into a 50 amp 4 prong RV outlet in my garage. Couldn't I install a breaker interlock for the houses main breaker, and make a double ended male cable to go from the 30 amp end from the Lightning bed to the 50amp RV outlet in my garage, and backfeed my house that way...
  13. More Lightning drag racing

Raced my brother in law in his 2024 Raptor R on Saturday. I had 5 people in my truck and a mountain bike in the back. Smoked him pretty good. His comment was "holy $hit that thing gets some serious torque steer!" LOL
  14. Lightning as an actual truck from an ex Raptor owner

lol the same could be said for a Lightning… dumb argument. Not even sure what your point is here.
  15. Lightning as an actual truck from an ex Raptor owner

My 2023 Gen 3 with 37 Package on KO3’s got about 13.5mpg. 14.5 with the OEM KO2 37’s. The KO3’s are a tad larger and heavier.
  16. Disabling F-150 Lightning's Beeps, Dings, Chimes, Honks, Bings, Bongs, and Dongs

I have your Megaohm for my reverse, works great. I did unplug my brand new 2025 Lariat frunk speaker and have had zero issues though? No errors.
  17. Lightning as an actual truck from an ex Raptor owner

Pretty much same. I miss the Raptor in some ways, but very happy with the Lightning. It's a great truck so far. Even my MTB buddies who make fun of the Lightning are jealous of the frunk. LOL
  18. Lightning as an actual truck from an ex Raptor owner

Sure you can make one *look* like a Raptor, but it'll never perform like one offroad. Washboard dirt roads are one thing, actual hard core offroad is a whole different animal. Take it from a guy with 9 Baja 1000 class wins.
  19. Lightning as an actual truck from an ex Raptor owner

So I've only had this truck for a couple of weeks now, and have about 1,700 miles on it. I traded in a 2023 Raptor (37 package) and I had a Gen 2 Raptor before that, and I had a Gen 1 Raptor before that. I'm an avid mountain biker and ride 5 or 6 days a week, and it always involves driving off...
