Everything is working as it should and no codes.

Happy to report I have taken my first drive with a fully functional and operational Comma.ai. Thank you both for your assistance. Should I just wait now for the breakout board and just do a start up according to these simple tests till then?

The long cable (both of them, throw codes immediately) same issue as before

No. Not with the short cable. plugged directly into the harness. no coupler

I will reseat all cables later today and let you know if anything changes. Would be good if it were that simple. I know when I unplug the comma cable from the Q4 harness and restart the truck everything returns back to normal.

The comma is giving me a cruise control error that flashes at the bottom of the comma screen and the codes are staying active. My first drive was for about 10 minutes with no change in the codes or the comma error

Unless I am doing something wrong it is not just a reflection issue. The codes do not clear while the comma is up and running and without the ACC it will not connect with the vehicle.
