Toyota just launched the bz7 in China. Larger than a Model S, $21,500. It's made in a joint venture with GAC.
One simple question: would that car sell here in the U.S. for that price? Even 50% more? With a Toyota nameplate you bet it would...

It's owned and operated by the Finnish government as a non-profit.
Keep in mind that Finland is a very high tech country. I'm not saying the battery tech has to be real for that reason, but when it comes to trust, I'd say the Finns in general are high up on my list. They're a stoic, no nonsense...
I don't expect anything, but it's like you said; "It's a free market."
If Ford wants my '25 Lariat back in 2028, they can have it. If they offer me a good deal, I'll consider it. But the way things are looking now, after they canceled the BEV Lightning, I'm most definitely not buying out the...
I'm a fellow Norwegian, living in the SF Bay Area. I bought my Lightning new from a local Ford dealer in September. I could technically have bought any trim in any color, but guess what I ended up with?
Yup, a Lariat in Antimatter Blue. It must be a Norwegian thing. 😂
FWIW; '25 Lariat with iPhone 16 Pro Max. CarPlay has been very reliable. Had my first glitch yesterday, when after a brief stop/errand, music would only play through the right speaker when I got back in the truck. Stopping and restarting the music fixed the issue.

On top of all that, Ford...

I tried to add my Lightning, but it wouldn't let me. The text boxes in the "request vehicle" dialog won't take input. They remain empty no matter what I try to type.
An easy way to do that in the app would be to simply highlight the corresponding padlock icon on the main screen of the app. I.e. highlight the locked padlock icon if the truck is locked.
I was wondering the same thing. Also: if I don't subscribe, will I have any cruise control functionality at all? I.e., will I retain the hands-on-the-steering-wheel speed-keeping cruise control?
According to InsideEVs. From the article:
"The best-selling electric truck in America in the third quarter was the Ford F-150 Lightning, with 10,005 units sold, a healthy 39.7% year-over-year increase. From the beginning of the year, the blue oval automaker sold 23,024 Lightnings stateside...
