FWIW, this message is from Ecoflow Tier 2 technical support. Hard to say how how much they know about the Ford Power Pro, but at least this suggests the DP wonāt fault. Also, the charge rates are informative.
Ok, adapters have been ordered (returnable). Iāll share the result after theyāve arrived and Iāve had a chance to test out this Lightning to DP charging arrangement.
I havenāt found a wiring diagram of the DP yet. But in any case, your point would seem to apply to the DPās AC input, but I donāt think the infinity port and EV X-Stream adapter work the same way. The Ford PPOB sees the Ford coupler/control box, and the coupler/control box does some sort of...
Hey, Iām wondering if anyone has tried charging a Delta Pro via its AC input from the Lightningās 240V 30A receptacle using a NEMA L14-30 to L6-30 adapter followed by L6-30 to IEC C13 power cord? The DP docs claim that the AC input supports 120-240V (up to 12.5A in 240V mode), but the supplied...
Iām gonna try option C + EF Delta Pro. I like the idea of using the Delta Pro to power the critical loads, then recharging it from the Lightning. Order placed (hopefully I still get some IRA dollars).
@Joneii @TaxmanHog Iām intrigued by your setups, but Iād like the flexibility of also being able to send power directly from the truck to the critical loads. Are either of you using your Ecoflow DPs together with Generac transfer switch? If not, do you think this can be done, or is the Generacās...
I want to add two more factors that havenāt been mentioned. (Both factors are small peas compared to the amortization of R&D and a new production line.)
1. Traditional warranty math doesnāt really work with the battery because there isnāt enough historical data to establish accurate battery...
Wow, thx for sharing all of these links, especially the shared threads, @digitaldad!
I wrote my OP after browsing every single thread in the āLighting modā forum because I misread it as āLightning modsā! As you might expect, 98% of the posts were indeed about lights. The other 2% were about...
Thx to you all for sharing your experience,
@AZT9 are your 1st and 3rd pics of the front or the rear? Looking at the Eibach website, the shocks and springs arenāt pictured as coilovers, so I was imagining that they were mounted conventionally. Good to see from your pics that they work as...
I see what youāre talking about. Found this photo of a Lightning rear suspension on Reddit (credit to u/csukoh78). It does indeed look like a typical front coilover.
Iāll probably end up going with Eibachs simply because the company that makes them says they fit the Lightning, but it would be...
Great info, thanks. The Bilstein 6112 front is what I ran on my Ram and was very satisfied.
Do the Bilstein 5160 or 5165 not fit properly on the rears? Or did you just not feel it necessary to put them on as well?
I used to own a 4th gen Ram 1500. With Bilstein B8 6112 coilovers in front and B8 5165 / B12 specials in back, it handled like a beast on-road and off-road.
Iād love to find a comparable setup for my Lightning Flash. Like OP said, it feels like a boat.
Hey Lightning owners, Iām wondering if anyone has tried putting aftermarket springs and shocks on the Lightning, and if do, what was your experience? Was it a simple bolt-on, or did it require any unusual modifications to make it all work? Did it mess up any of the built-in driver assist tech...
Newb here. Thank you all for this info ā the procedure worked for me when my ā25 Flashās frunk stopped responding to the various buttons.
This thread should be pinned!
