9 left now:) I was stuck on the OTA 1.7.1 failed update. In Jan I used FDRS (with the Nano) to get past that and get to what looks like the equivalent of 2.3.0. I've had no OTAs since the failed 1.7.1. Looking at the "widget" module GWM data I see my VIN corrupted as: 1FTFA98543FW1ED2MFA98543...

A huge THANK YOU to Iceman for starting this thread and to everyone else for contributing. I was one of the many stuck on a failed 1.7.1. I'm not sure what "Power Up" I'm on now but hopefully OTAs will start again. At least now I have a Sync version showing and CarPlay turn by turn and music...

I'm mainly interested in getting past the failed 1.7.1. OTA. Will FDRS have any indication as to which module updates are related to specific OTA revisions or do you use another source to determine the OTA equivalent?

Thanks iceman77 for this. Being stuck on 1.7.1 for a couple of months i'm thinking it's worth the $150 investment to not have to deal with the Ford service department but I do have a question.... At the point a USB is inserted for FDRS to write the needed software can the VCX Nano be removed? My...
