I can’t speak for an F150 but we take brand new 3/4 and 1 ton trucks and hitch really freakin heavy bumper tow and gooseneck trailers to them the very next morning and everyday until we get rid of them. Chevy, Dodge and Ford they seem to last until the replacement interval of 120 to 150k miles...
For what it’s worth, the wife’s 2007 4Runner had stick on, stuck them on there when the truck was new. About two years ago they started falling apart and had become brittle from 13 years of Florida sun. I replaced them with the same. The tape was still holding and it didn’t peel any paint off...
I had Weather Tech in channel on a 2018 F250. I liked the look but feared the long term affects on the rubber with the deflectors stretched into them but the windows worked fine just a little extra noise going up and down. I recently saw a new gen F250 with stick on ones painted to match the red...
I’m in the same boat with the same truck. The hitch rating doesn’t make a lot of sense. A WDH hitch still goes into the same hole so technically the straight pull is from the same spot. For a boat trailer the hitch is probably just fine but legally it isn’t. I will likely upgrade to a V myself...
Take a
i didn’t dog any deeper once he told me there wasn’t a harness there. I looked at it myself last night short of removing the backing on the back wall or the carpet. I don’t see any harness either. I emailed some questions to Levittown Ford asking what else comes with the speaker and if...
Standard non B&O. Maybe this part comes with a harness and some instructions to connect it somewhere else. They also said the price was $800.00 plus not the five something listed.
I’m at the dealer today and had them look this part up. It is now available to ship. While the tech was in my truck he looked for a harness behind the seat and reported that I do not have the wiring for it built into the truck. I have a Lariat 500A. I wonder what truck they make this thing for then.
Please follow up and let us know how it goes. I’m curious what the dealer charges for this and if when they add it to the head unit does some controls for the sub show up.
Ok so I tell you lies here.
The dealer doesn't actually have it in stock. I stopped in to the service department today to make an appointment for this and a first service. It turns out that what they actually have is one on backorder for the last four months. According to their system there is...
In five years or so when Electrcians are running adds on tv like lawyers every five minutes to fight over selling me an additional drop to my house for a high amperage quick charger then I will get one. By then Ford will have this thing refined a lot more and it will surely have better range...
someone posted either in another thread here or on another forum that they fit a 35” tire in there. Had a few pictures from underneath and behind that showed the big tire in the spot.
Welcome to the club.
It depends on how optioned out your XLT is. If you have a 302a with extra things like a moonroof and power tailgate you could have eaten that extra 250 up.
