I just picked it up. Other than loosing a few presets, radio, seats, phone, everything seems to be the same.

That's not what I wanted to hear. They ordered in the cables and my truck was their first attempt at the TSB repair. That was probably a big mistake on my part. I'm headed out to pick it up. Hope it is still drivable.

After 7 days at the dealer, still no OTA update. They keep getting a U3000 failure on the APIM. They are ordering an APIM.

@Jesse-Infotainment Any chance you can take a look at the info on my truck and give me your opinion of where I stand. Vin #1FTFW1ED5MFC06184. I had it in for the TSB to fix the OTA Update issue. The dealer is getting the U3000 error and says I need a new APIM.

My truck is the first for them to run the TSB on. So far, 4 failures, they are not giving up but it doesn't look like I get it back today.

I dropped mine off this morning for the OTA update. They expect to get it back to me today. According to the service tech Ford halted the trailer brake module recall on Friday. The fix was causing some new problems.

Mine ordered it from Amazon, two day delivery.

Yes they are 8.5". It is marked on the inside of the wheel.

I'll keep an eye on it. I've had it since July and this is the first time it happened. It goes in Tuesday for the 1.7.1 TSB fix. Thanks again.

Either way, the only way it should short is the water getting between the hot wire and a ground.

I'm one of the ones stuck in the OTA purgatory. My truck did the same thing, one time, a few weeks ago. No electric for over 20 miles and engine cold for the reason, temp gauge was showing normal operating temp. I stopped for 30 minutes then all was normal. I've just chalked it up to a one time...

I agree, no way they pay dealers to do this as warranty if an OTA is only a few weeks away to fix it.
