This is exactly right. I put 30,000 miles on the Lightning back and forth to work, but my wife works from home, and the Mach E is only driven locally by my daughter. Minimal miles on the other two cars, and the one is a PHEV that still takes gas.

Ohio is 2X this. $200 Additional for BVEV OR PHEV, and $100 for a hybrid. The $200 for PHEV and $100 for hybrids is really grating, as both of those vehicles use gas, and the PHEV has a very short EV range for most cars.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the NE Lightning Owners meetup held at Tom Moloughney's house and also attended by Ford Representatives. Traveled all the way from Ohio (two of us) and there were 17 Lightnings there along with one Ford brought making a total of 18! A veritable Lightning...

Not sure when learning ends . . . We have a Lightning and a Mach E. When I could not bear to part with the Mach E when I got the Lightning, so we got rid of the 2016 Escape my 23 Year old daughter was driving, and she drives the Mach E. Not a huge deal, but she clipped the sideview mirror on...

I was able to get the CSP for my demo purchased in December 2022. I had to call SunRun, the dealer had to send them proof of sale, and then I got it. As to the warranty, my truck had 4,500 miles on it when I got it, and they gave me the 42,000 mile warranty to make up for it.

Mine said “ready soon” all day on TT for Mac. Will try again tomorrow.

Indeed. For those of you younger . . . those of us entering our 60's now are (I think) a bit different that what most consider the "baby boomer" generation. While we did not have technology in our pockets (well, other than TI Calculators) we were among the first to actually have computer labs...

LOL. Maybe in general, but I am 62. We have a MachE, a Lightning, and a Lincoln Corsair PHEV.

Not a total BEV, but we have a Corsair PHEV (My wife's car). Same platform as the Escape PHEV, but AWD. A lot of Lincoln dealers are now combo dealerships Ford/Lincoln. We bought our Corsair at such a dealership.

I have a Mach E and a Lightning. In the Mach E, the frunk is a novelty. I hardly ever use it. In the Lightning, I use it ALL the time. It is awesome! LTFA!
