The industrial ones are slightly larger in diameter and significantly more expensive but worth it. Because of the larger in diameter they will need a new face plate as well.
You have to put in a reservation before June or they will not ship you a free adapter. After June the adapter will cost $200. There are threads on how to reserve one so I won't go into the details of that here.
No and yes. No it can't be used at the current time. Tesla must open their sites to each brand. Once Tesla allows access then the adapter will work. Currently only Ford and Rivian brands have access. The others will gain access over time.
