Is there a process for re-requesting a failed OTA update? My truck tried to update last week while parked at the airport. Unfortunately the battery was too low for it to apply the update. It failed 4 nights in a row and apparently stoped trying. Now that my truck is home and charged, I am...
I received an email months ago telling me it was going to be pushed out 'shortly' to my truck. I think their definition of shortly and mine are dramatically different. If they dont get it to me in the next three months, I wont ever get it as my 3 years is almost up and I am NOT going to pay a...
It is now time to replace the original tires my MY22 Lariat came with. I have a contact who is selling some 315/70/17 BFGoodrich KO2‘s with a Bolt pattern of 6x135.
He took off his brand new MY24 Raptor. The rims are cool, but specifically I like the idea of getting the K02’s. A buddy has...
I am at 32k miles on my existing MY22 Lightning. I love it, and I am curious if anyone has experience with or considered upgrading. Frankly, I could use the tax rebate and with the cost of money these days, financing a new ride at 0.0% interest now doesnt sound partcularly worse than sticking...
Ford needs to improve BC if they want to charge for it. I've had it on my MY22 lightning since purchase, and the only noticeable upgrade or improvement since has been 'in-lane' stability. (no more lane line ping pong). Zero new roads have been added that affected me. In my experience the only...
Ive absolutely had this happen. At least 5-10 times. I am pushing the brake, but truck is accelerating against the brake. I've always thought it was my size 15 feet accidentally hitting both petals. Hmmm. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K...
I did not get this email, nor do I have anyway to 'contact' ford for support of my HiS. I wonder if I never was registered as a HIS owner?
Is there an actual support site for this thing? An 800 number? Fax number?
I have to admit, with a couple of specific exceptions, my HIS experience has...
I used it for the initial power as well, but until Ford provides the same "member" discounts that EA/ChargePoint/Noodle etc provide when using their apps, I wont likely ever use it. That said, If forced to do so, I'll use it when going to Tesla stations, but only then.
Back in the day there was rumor that Ford was going to provide adapters for "early adopters" of Ford EV solutions. I presume that dream is dead and I should start shopping for one if I am ever to take advantage of the expanded Ford charging network?
This update is driving me nuts. I drive the truck over 2 hours every day, so 12v battery SoC should be as good as it ever gets. Main battery is 90% by the time the update tries to apply at 2:00 AM. I am on failure 10+ due to preconditions not met but every category they state as a possible...
And yet, you didn't follow your own findings? ;) Point taken, sorry for the rant and the use of all caps. But with no underline, where do you get emphasis online? I find exclamation points just don't do it justice, and I am not one for expletives.
You are kind of right, but not to the point of me being completely illiterate.
I bought the advanced technology package so THAT the Mach-E would have BlueCruise which they were still developing. Back in mid 2020 when I actually ordered the car, that was what you did. You bought the technology...
It will come on the lightning 1 month before expiration of the trial I'd expect just long enough to try to hook some suckers
. Sounds like I can expect 1.3 on my Mach-E shortly. Still nothing...
Time to find me a F250 carbureted V8 from the 80's. Might be the only thing we can drive without a subscription going forward. Want to be able to open your charge port door? $17.50 per month!
Correct. My model year 21 Mach-E had the same trial which expires this year, despite BlueCruise not coming to my Mach-E until spring of 2022. Unfortunately Ford wasn't able to produce a usable product for a reasonable price in that 3 years. I am not holding my breath that they will by 2025...
Interstate/Freeway driving. It is 6+ lanes in my direction, and actually goes to 8 for about half of the drive. For the logs, I was in the Express/Commuter lane to the far left for the whole monitored drive. Turned BlueCruise on once I got in the lane, turned off before exiting. So while...
I received notice today that my Blue Cruise trial was ending 12/31/23 and I have been invited to renew now to avoid any interruptions. I clicked on the link to see what they wanted to charge for it and to see if by any chance the 'interruptions' they claimed I could avoid are all the things that...
