Yes. In my case it turned out to be improper splicing of the signal wires. I redid the splice with different splice connectors than the ones supplied and everything has been good since.
Has anyone installed this on a powerboost yet? Front seems to have both a strut spacer and a spring preload spacer. If I only want 2" of lift and not the full 3.5", can I install this kit minus the strut spacer?
Any pictures? I am about to install a front hitch and then a hitch mounted winch. Curt says 5000lb rating, but Reese has one that says 9000 lbs straight pull rating.
Would love to see pics mounted. I ditched that silly air dam long ago so not worried about that.
Engine will not run full time, defeats the point of having a lithium battery to draw from. Engine will run every once in a while to charge up that battery.
I run a 15k BTU overhead RV AC, tire warmers, microwave, fans, battery tenders etc trackside from the 7.2 pro power. Engine kicks on every...
I hear ya now.
I have noticed 0.0% impact on MPG since removing it. Makes you question how much value that really adds and why Ford would include a seemingly useless part.
I suppose what I am saying is I assume the entire reason you want to disable it is for looks/cleaning up the front end? If so, you will be dremeling off the visor and removing the dam altogether which makes disabling the motor moot.
If you are disabling the airdam for some other reason and...
No I have not tried that, why would I? My setup is working fine. If I remember correctly, that gentlemen drilled new holes in the step motor and patched old mounting holes etc. Too much work, though that is probably a more complete install if you didn't want to just push the coolant lines up a...
I find that my tranny gets jerky after driving 4-5k miles gently and hypermiling i.e., lots of coasting in electric and gas motor stopping and starting. I reset tranny via forscan once about 5k miles ago and it made tranny smooth again, but its gotten jerky again. This time, the forscan reset...
Hello @Livnitup is there a proper way to reset transmission adaptive tables? I did the reset transmission option via Forscan but tranny is still jerky. Is there more than one module that needs to be reset?
Update on this thread - Have about 10k miles on the 285x65x20 KO2s with no level. MPG is same as it was stock - I get 23-24 in town and 22-23 on highway doing 70 mph. Yes I recalibrated the speedo with forscan. I almost always run 93 top tier gas from costco and yes I do notice a 1.5 mpg drop...
Yes, it can be done. AMP is wrong and generally their service department is clueless. You will undo a clip on the frame in the passenger side to allow the coolant lines to be pushed out of the way. That's all there is to it.
Pics here.

God its you again!! Everywhere I look on this forum, I run into a thread where you are bashing the PB. You saw a photo of a powerboost towing a big boat and bought one and now surprised its not as good as an f350. Pretty ordinary thinking and I could care less about your HOA. Go away!
OK sorry if I misspoke, didn't mean to add incorrect information to the thread. I only tested zone lighting (puddle lights) and they worked. I did not know about marker lights, good to know for future reference.
Yes, puddle lights and BLIS worked for me. I had to disable mirror sensor via forscan for power adjust to work. I subsequently returned the tow mirrors, I don't have them anymore.
I got the CA mirrors to work on my 21. Look inside DDM and PDM (not the as built but the GUI) and there are several options for puddle lights.
Does memory recall work on the CA mirrors?
No. I do not have 360 but I have trailer backup assist. They are not linked. Trailer backup assist only needs rear camera and the hardwired sensor they nw ship with the Truck.
