It came out of a platinum with 360 cams, trailer backup assist, all the goodies, so should do everything no problem. But I loaded my IPMA config to it right off the bat because it was freaking out with everything enabled for it in my truck, plus wanted to work through only what needs enabled to...
That's good to know then so must be a software thing, not so much a connected nav feature or anything else hopefully.
Had some more weird things happen again today and got it to work very briefly for a minute barely a couple times, but only would like right after starting the truck and getting...
Yes! I kinda that that idea in the back of my head and was wondering about that, so I'll have to re-up that and see what happens, as mine is currently inactive.
However, some strange progress today, changed a few more addresses toying around and nothing major at first, but then all a sudden...
Welp, played around with it some more this evening with the new suggestions and still no functional speed sign recognition. The one big one I thought I maybe didn't have on, the IPC 720-09-01 xxxx xxxx *x speed limit info function" was already on from when I turned it on previously. So will...
I got to thinking about this recently, especially when Ford first announced it they said it was going to be an "activation/subscription" to make it all work. Seems like here recently all it really is, is certain software versions that either enable or disable it. I think you just proved that...
Thanks, on the 720-09-02 *xxx, yep I've got IAAC enabled there.
Ah ha! 720-09-01 xxxx xxxx *x is one I might have looked over since its just called SLIF, and yes, even on my comparison its different between, so will enabled that and see what happens! Thanks!
Good deal, keep an eye on ebay as...
Thanks! Yes, it is awesome!!! Ran it quite a bit today and got the hang of it, man does it work nice! Especially long stretches of straight highway all around where I am, even takes some curves halfway decent as well. It definitely damn near drives itself most of the time now.
I think the only...
More progress this evening! Finally got to playing around with things more and now have lane centering working!
I was about to throw in the towel and ask @Jesse-Infotainment for some pointers, but I kept at it and comparing options that needed to be enabled and finally got the right...
Awesome man! And here I am just happy I finally got ACC and lane centering working on my rig...
I use the same mentality in my work everyday, if there is a will, there is a way! No is never an option or answer.
Haha wow, thats awesome man, kudos to you and sounds like a win-win at the moment. This sounds very familiar to my current job at a ag equipment dealership on the technology side of things. Half my job anymore is assisting the techs with anything and everything technology related, especially...
I noticed that so you might be good to go on that end so far. Either trailer assist or 360 cams option should bump you up to the advanced IPMA from what I've tried to decipher.
Curious though, what does your driver assistance menu look like? I imagine you don't even have the cruise control...
Thanks! It just depends right now, that is the next thing to play with and figure out. If you have trailer assist or 360 cams, you "should" have the advanced IPMA then, so in theory you should be setup for lane centering as well already, just need to add the CCM.
I plan to throw the kitchen...
Quick update. Ran ACC quite a bit today and worked flassely the whole time. The 3/4 distance is just about right for me and don't think I need to change it, but probably will try to play around with it just to make sure it can be changed in Forscan if people don't feel like adding the steering...
Big progress day! Finally had some time to play around with things and I have adaptive cruise now!
Leveled my CCM sensor as in the service manual. Then did the CCM calibration using Forscan which was very straight forward, just had to drive it down the road for a bit until it tells you its...
I'd say try to edit the abt file. Paste in all the good values from you old, good DSM file, then make sure all the new values are also in there at the bottom then see if you can load and restore the file then. I would imagine all the newly added values are already configured the way they need to...
Update. Nice enough day to plug my new CCM in finally and see what happens, got it plugged in and fired up Forscan and boom! CCM showed up just like it should finally, so my other one was toast. Got the PMI done on it and DTC went away for that. I need to take the bumper off again to get it in...
Nope, but you don't need to take the bumper off, just the top bumper valance plastic piece along with the grill to access that connection, only takes 10 minutes if that, it's really simple. But you do want to take the bumper off to swap the harness if that's the case for you.
The CCM and switch so far... It's still up in the air if the higher level IPMA is needed or not, and this is just for adaptive cruise right now if that's what you're after. My plan was to play around with mine this weekend getting these added finally, but snow and 30 degree high weather...
I'm in the same boat, just got my nano earlier this week and was going to play around with it this weekend and try my hand at getting everything updated. Was going to hold off but looks like tides are starting to turn again in everyone's favor so may give it a go if I feel like rolling some dice.
Looks like you both have MY22 trucks so I imagine Forscan doesn't have these newer calibration files loaded for this module in particular. Send a log to them and I bet they can get it added.
