I hear ya! My last truck was a RAM 2500 quad cab with an 8' bed. I was not popular when I showed up to Beverly Hills restaurants and handed the keys to the valet...
That's a handy tool! At the moment, the data set (4200 cars TOTAL, across all makes) is too small to make accurate predictions for specific models, but I've bookmarked it and will keep checking as their data set increases.
The only articles I've read suggesting that big of a drop in low temps have been written by stock sites populated by Tesla short sellers. Most of the customers in Norway (where it's a best-seller) report a much lower drop in range.
I think with enough testing, they should be able to come up with an average. Just like we do when estimating mpg while towing - enough people give you their results and it gives you a pretty decent guesstimate.
I'm with you on the range issue. With regard to temperature, Tesla is the best-selling car in Norway, so I think they should be OK there (but probably with some drop in range).

It depends on the trailer. I have a lightweight European one that weighs 2100 lbs and has a tongue weight of 150lbs. Others at our barn are heavier, and have tongue weights of around 400 lbs.
For some of us (I pull a horse trailer), the weight is all in the trailer and payload is unimportant. What's important is being able to tow as much as possible.
Has anyone else experienced the alarm going off when the truck is locked with the trailer still attached?
This is a dealbreaker for me if it happens to everyone. I tie my horses to the trailer and lock my truck, then work out of the trailer. If the alarm goes off it will scare the crap out of...
Yes, a gooseneck/5th wheel has a much easier time making tight turns. Making a 90-degree or smaller turn into a small barn aisle is tough with a conventional trailer, but easy with a gooseneck.
A gooseneck can also make a 180-degree turn on a small road when a bumper-pull simply wouldn't manage...
I’m ordering a Lariat 502A High. It has CarPlay, but no wireless charging. I think one poster confused the terminology. This thread is about wireless charging, not wireless connection to CarPlay.
When I was a teenager, the intro of "Blue Monday" by New Order was always a good speaker test (the drums can overwhelm easily). I also like "Crazy" by seal, and "The Moldau" by Smetana.
Completely agree. My bed view camera should show me the front window of my horse trailer, which is a handy thing when you hear noise coming from the trailer. I'd like to be able to check the camera and make sure that a horse is just kicking and not actually falling or in distress. At the moment...
