I have an appointment next Wednesday to get past 1.7.1. I asked the dealer to bring it up to the current version and they said they would. Also getting the brake module taken care of and a new amp and a module for the radio/display. Have a great Easter weekend everyone!!!
I have B&O Unleashed and it has happened to me well over 30 times in the past 14 months. six dealers in three states have looked into it. I have been in contact with Ford Customer Service many times with a few CAS numbers.

They need to change how this is done, so we can use a usb flash drive to get everyone on a consistent version, then switch to OTA. I have told Ford numerous times what poor planning they had for those that are stuck on OTA 1.7.1. No backup plan to keep updates rolling out.
Awesome to read that they are finally moving forward. Now, too bad that I am stuck on 1.7.x update and no relief in sight. My dealer told me to expect their ability to update my truck in late February/early March and now I have heard it will be late March/Early April.

Beginning of Rant: TBH, While I love my truck and have been waiting for months to get beyond 1.7.1 the lack of support from Ford is inexcusable. I have worked in tech support, and corporate IT. I find it hard to believe that they had no backup plan for failed updates, etc.

I was told by my dealer that had been in contact with a Ford Engineer that the fix for "stuck" OTA updates will be February and will be at the dealer in early March for them to upload into my truck. Time will tell.
