Unfortunately, that's not what I'm looking for. That version of Alexa has been around for years, and is downloadable from your phones app store. In an upcoming update (which they announced May of last year), they will be replacing Ford's built in voice assistant with Alexa. You'll know you have...
So now that the '22s have been out for a while, I have noticed that Alexa is officially built in to all the ones that I've seen. Has anyone with a '21 gotten the update that adds Alexa? I'm currently on 2.3.0 and have no Alexa. I'm curious if they've started rolling that out yet, and what...
TCU is unplugged for the evening. Hoping it works in the morning.
I sell Fords, so I activate FordPass in these things all the time. I'm pretty well versed on how to get the damn thing to work when it doesn't want to. That's why my mind is just boggled right now. Again, I really appreciate your...
Sweet! I appreciate your help! I'll give that a shot.
I did not, to my knowledge, alter anything involving my VIN number. I was also very careful anytime I was in Forscan to make sure that I was making the changes that I intended to make and nothing else. Not saying it couldn't have happened...
706-34-xx has also apparently been altered, but cannot be restored. That one is listed as CustomerSetting_AHBOnOff_Pers1 (CSAHBOOP) • CustomerSetting_AHBOnOff_Pers2 (CSAHBOOP) • CustomerSetting_AHBOnOff_Pers3 (CSAHBOOP) • CustomerSetting_AHBOnOff_Pers4 (CSAHBOOP)
GWM, the specific module that was altered by the 2.1.0 OTA update is showing this DTC. Tried to restore the GWM module to my original factory as-built, but it said there were no changes. Tried to restore IPMA to original factory as built, and it gets to 8% and says service procedure interrupted...
@Jesse-Infotainment which modules in Forscan could potentially affect my connectivity issues? I've tried reset Ford pass connect in Sync 4, removing the vehicle and (attempting) to re-add in the app (still no luck there), master reset in sync 4... I'm going to revert to my factory as-builts on...
Yup. Your 1.7.1 is stuck. Shows as "Pending". Have you tried manually updating it in Sync 4?
The same update was successfully downloaded and then cancelled on 12/11.
Hold right skip on both the steering wheel and console for a few seconds. A speaker test will come up. You can either let it go through all your speakers (I did the first time. Had a couple speakers I didn't know I had!), or hit end test. It'll bring up a whole list of debug menus. Hit...
Well, I just tried that. Can't re-activate it at all now.
When I enable debugging it shows a cellular connection too. Doesn't make sense, and confirms to me that it's software related, not hardware.
Hey everyone. Like most of us, I have made a handful of changes via Forscan, both from the common list, as well as testing a few things. On 12/13, my truck received PowerUp 2.1.0 via an automatic OTA update. Since the update, it has not had cellular connectivity. FordPass doesn't work, Oasis...
Thought about that, and I may still give it a try. But Ford pass has nothing to do with Oasis (Ford's internal dealer service website, which shows connected vehicle status). Both Ford pass AND Oasis are showing the last update on December 13th, which, coincidentally is the same day that 2.1.0...
The title says it all. My truck downloaded and successfully installed Power Up 2.1.0 on 12/13. Ever since then, the connected vehicle features stopped working. Ford Pass acts like it's connected, but isn't updating and won't start/lock/unlock my truck. Even Oasis is showing no information after...
I'm actually curious about this. Does the 3.5 fake noise sound different than the 2.7? I feel like both would just be trying to pipe in the same V8 noise.
