The price of lithium carbonate has skyrocketed to a new record in China. That's the main reason for the cost increase. It's currently at $71,764.95 per ton. A year ago, it was $24,741.69 per ton. Two years ago, it was at $5,482.53 per ton. https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/lithium...

Its more than likely Bowers Automotive group: https://www.bowersag.com/
  3. List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

Do you know this for sure? I'm not going to add that unless it includes the specific dealer names.
  4. List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

wonders if they saw "Don't quote this post when replying" I can't add this dealer without knowing where they are.
  5. 2023 F-150 Lightning ORDER GUIDE Released (U.S. & Canada)!

Yeah, too much interference from the inverters and motors. The addition of heated seats to the Pro is what seals the deal for me. Definitely going to choose the Pro. Too bad they got rid of Atlas Blue.
  6. List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

OP in that post updated and said that the dealer wanted to sell it for twice its MSRP
  7. Potential future EV credit changes [NO POLITICS]

As they say, it's based on what they understand from reading, so it's their opinion.
  8. Post a picture of your current vehicle

    Here's my truck. 126,500 miles, bought in 2009. A 2006 F-150 XLT 5.4L. Will be replaced by a Lightning Pro about 2024.
  9. What percentage should I charge my battery to daily using the Ford Charge Station Pro?

I would say 20-85% is fine for daily driving. For trips, 15-90% at a DCFC, but at a hotel on a level 2, max of 100% I was reading in the manual, at 15% and below, the vehicle stops sending power to the 12V battery.
  10. BlueCruise city driving vibration

It could be that one or more of your brake rotors are already warped. That happens easily with factory brakes.
  11. Some observations after a week of ownership

For what its worth, 1 pedal driving is a blend of mostly regenerative braking (using the motors to generate electricity to charge the batteries) and a bit of actual brake useage.
  12. I Don’t Miss the Brake Dust

I solved my brake dust issue by using ceramic pads for the front brakes. Semi-metallic for the rears. (2006 F-150)
  13. Buying a mannequin demo Lightning - any reservations?

Usually, first set of vehicles to be built will have small but minor build quality issues.
  14. F150 Lightning Towing Test vs GMC Denali (not Ike Gauntlet) by TFL

Wasn't sure if you knew that, because you suggested a gas generator to charge while driving (if you do use a generator to charge, it needs to be a pure sine wave inverter generator)
  15. F150 Lightning Towing Test vs GMC Denali (not Ike Gauntlet) by TFL

The BMW i3 REX is a hybrid, like the Volt. The engine is the range extender. But yeah, having anything plugged into the CCS/J1772 port will disable the ability for the vehicle to move.
  16. F150 Lightning Towing Test vs GMC Denali (not Ike Gauntlet) by TFL

Can't charge any EV while its moving.
