And Tesla charge broke my Ford Pass connectivity….maybe NASA can help

Any chance you have plug and charged on a Tesla Supercharger recently? Both times I have done that, connectivity gets screwed up with Ford Pass for 12 hours or so. I cannot be definitive this is what is affecting connectivity but it is suspect.

I so want this but I am nervous to rip into my truck…. Can we confirm that 2023 XLT 311A with Tow Tech has the wires needed? I can plug in a harness but adding wiring to a harness is out of my skill level.

Yes Ford Pass support closed at 9pm 239.2 kWh loaded in so far…..thanks Elongated Muskrat UPDATE…Ford Pass app listed 994 kWh energy delivered thru Tesla Supercharger magically though, truck reestablished connectivity with the app sometime last night. hopefully, plug and charge will not bill...

Just had my FIRST Tesla charge. 9 minutes…$11.75 for 25 kWh. Seemed like a lot. Now, Ford Pass still thinks I’m connected…so far 230.9 kWh added. Truck in in driveways, unplugged. WTFord?

On my last road trip, I found Sport Mode gave me the best efficiency. Is that possible? SeeMs counterintuitive.

Me excite…bonus looks like Tesla prices less here in Virginia than EA. Right now 33 cents vs. 44 cents per kWh. I liked it better in Tennessee where charge is by minute though….much cheaper.

I am so confused by preconditioning. How do you know it is happening? When I go to charge on the road, how does the truck know to precondition? Seems like a phantom setting. Owned truck a year, still flummoxed.

Similar… I paid 62k+ and my dealer offered 40k to trade in. Truck is one year old and in perfect condition. Not taking a 22,000 loss on a trade. I MIGHT see 10k but not really. Based on disappearing inventory, I bet used value goes up quite a bit in a few months. Gonna wait it out and see.

Went to look at upgrading to Lariat SR. Not sure. What say ye: 75k msrp 9k discount (7k Ford, 2k dealer I think) With tax credit total off is $16500 but I have to put up the $7500 no point of sale Offered 43k for my SR XLT Not quite sure

Just got this going for my XLT as well. Love the integration. Gonna try this for my next road trip in two weeks, see how it works.

Nothing more gratifying than giving my Lightning a good wash and wax today. Antimatter Blue looks so good. Getting all that salt and mud off was fantastic. Love this truck.

Was the 12k off before the tax credit? I’m looking to upgrade and if I get that…boom

Have you had the Gateway Module Recall done? I have same December built ‘23. It took that recall to get my updates going. Since then smooth sailing.
