  1. Buy Back - Who went this route? What was your experience?

For me, I had a Ford rep assigned to me during the 3-4 week module replacement process. Since I was coming up on a year and likely needed to submit my Lemon Law claim, I asked the rep to start the Buy Back process in parallel with fixing the truck. After a week or two when I was checking in on...
  2. Buy Back - Who went this route? What was your experience?

It was a very easy process. Ford first offered me exactly what the Massachusetts Lemon Law requires them to. My Ford rep told me to decline that offer and say that Ford could do better. Ford then came back with an additional $5,000. Overall I got to keep the $15,000 in EV incentives I received...
  3. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

I did Lemon Law it for various reasons. This was the final straw. Since Ford has yet to clear my Ford Pass credentials to the vehicle, I can see they fixed the charging rate. No idea what they did, but something simple I assume. Best of luck
  4. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

I was in a similar situation. My truck failed to start and showed the Powertrain and High Voltage errors early July. It was towed to the dealership. It took nearly four weeks to get the failed module replaced. Then a week later another error popped up along with restricted to 3kW charging speed...
  5. Buy Back - Who went this route? What was your experience?

After a month at the dealership for a battery module replacement and then a return to the dealership a week later due to charging issues, Ford has agreed to Buy Back my MY22 Lightning. I'm awaiting an official offer from Ford sometime next week. While I wait, I was curious to hear what Ford...
  6. Stop Driving Immediately: high voltage battery and power train warning

The truck also through some codes post module replacement. Something like Battery Performance or something. Ford BEV felt this error is likely why the charging speed is limited. It's back at the dealers sitting there hoping it gets looked at early week. Because I'm coming up on 12 months, I...
  7. Slow Charge Rate Post Module Replacement

I've used a FCSP for all my Lightning home charging. Prior to having a module replaced which took just under four weeks, I would easily charge at about 10.5kW. Post module fix I'm barely seeing 3-4kW. I have no idea why since nothing has changed on the charger settings. Anyone else have issues...
  8. Battery replacement timeline?

There's the actual replacement of the battery module which is a day task. Then there's the rebalancing of the cells. My dealer said this takes 12 hrs to perform with a tool/machine. It was just under four weeks without the truck for me to get it back. Over a week of that was due to the...
  9. Powertrain Malfunction / High Voltage Warning @ 11k miles

Finally got the truck back today. Overall it took just under 4 weeks from the failure event to have it back in my hands. Oh, and I missed her. The Mach E I've been driving around was just not the same. Overall, I was disappointed with Ford. I expected Ford to be in constant communication with...
  10. Post Module Replacement (23H01) - Problem Free?

I wish Ford was more proactive and identified my truck was part of the bulletin well before it died.
  11. Stop Driving Immediately: high voltage battery and power train warning

Similar situation for me. The truck dies with the High Voltage warning and Powertrain Malfunction errors on July 10th. Ford slapped the 23-H01 recall on the truck that Thursday. The replacement module arrived at the dealership a week later on July 20th. The hope was to begin working on the truck...
  12. Post Module Replacement (23H01) - Problem Free?

"Had" issues. Does this mean your truck has been fixed? Like I said before, mines still at the dealership. Apparently a tool that they need to replace the battery module was sent by Ford to the dealership sometime ago. The dealership claims they can't find it and that Ford never shipped it. To...
  13. Post Module Replacement (23H01) - Problem Free?

Although my truck is part of the bulletin, they never gave me a heads up. They applied the bulletin to my vehicle after it failed.
  14. Post Module Replacement (23H01) - Problem Free?

For the folks that have had the 23H01 bulletin applied by Ford to their vehicle or even have experienced the High Voltage Warning and Powertrain Malfunction errors, how has your truck been post repair? This is the 3rd week my truck has been at the dealership. Apparently they have the module...
  15. Dealer Won't Perform Maintenance With Active Recall

Our of curiosity, what was the active safety recall? Windshield wipers?
  16. Powertrain Malfunction / High Voltage Warning @ 11k miles

I'm right there with you. Ask your dealer about this recall and see if it's confirmed for your truck.
  17. Powertrain Malfunction / High Voltage Warning @ 11k miles

Thars basically all of MY22. Id suggest protectively looking into this. If it fails, your truck is dead. Bringing your truck to the dealer with the parts already in hand and Ford Tech ready to assist would cut down on significant headache.
  18. Powertrain Malfunction / High Voltage Warning @ 11k miles

I confirmed with Ford that my truck is part of the 23H01 recall regarding the high voltage battery module replacement. It falls within that time frame. I'm assuming those who were built in the timeframe indicated within this bulletin will either experience a failure or get the recall to bring...
  19. Powertrain Malfunction / High Voltage Warning @ 11k miles

Agreed. That's likely the issue here and I'm OK with that. I get that we're somewhat a guinea pig for the dealers to learn. As long as I feel I'm getting the necessary attention and they're not putting me off since they're scared and would rather work on traditional ICE vehicles.
