I thought the same, and they may not know how to diagnose further to the module level. But, given what I've heard here, it may present less issues if they can replace the entire thing, rather than Frankenstein the modules back together in the field.

Got my shipped email this morning. Kept the same estimated delivery dates of 9/13-9/19. Figures, yesterday I took delivery of my powerboost I ordered last October.

My eta was pushed recently to 9/30-10/6, then tonight it's 9/14-9/19 still in built status. Maybe it was shipped and the status wasn't updated? It's toying with my emotions.
