    this is my take too. At speed, it takes some practice to use correctly. Different but similar, have someone that has used a lawn tractor to mow their yard and ask them to try a zero turn. First go around, it feels like an UFO

    excellent. So we are in agreement. The federal government has no business picking winners and losers. Leave that to state governments.

    This is correct. Subsidies are everything. Tesla hasn’t had subsidies in 2021 and Ford has. Tesla ONLY sold 7x more model Ys than Mach Es. ONLY SEVEN TIMES. Without a subsidy and giant fine to ICE drivers, these vehicles will never sell.

    Exactly. How do people not realize this? According to AOC we only have 8 years left to cut em missions in half or else the world will end. I’m calling for $1,000,000 fines to those not driving an EV.

    These wheels are capable of holding more weight than the ICE wheels, which is why they are different. I’m with you though. Need more options, including black or dark grey wheels.

    Agreed here. Really the only thing on the Lariat that I really want that isn’t offered on the XLT is BlueCruise. My Ford dealer has a shop that can put in aftermarket leather and it looks really nice. Not a big deal there.

    Assuming and hoping this is going to be my solution. I’m 150 amp service with gas stove/oven, furnace, and hot water heater. To be honest if I can’t cheaply get the 80 amp charger, I likely won’t be getting the lightning.

    I’m very curious what the actual install cost of the 80 amp charging station will be. If I’m not mistaken, 80 amp would take a 3 gauge wire? I’m no electrician but running it from my box in the basement to my garage on the other side of the house is going to be a job.
