  1. Winch / Bumper for 2021 F150?

    How difficult was the installation?
  2. Catalytic Converter Anti-Theft Device... Really needed?

I saw someone post an install video for a Powerboost and the Talons Garage plates: I have a hunch that the nature of cats for hybrid vehicles makes them contain more precious metals so I have already removed my Powerboost emblems as a precautionary step and I too am curious about any skid...
  3. Thinking about removing the Powerboost emblems

So I removed my Powerboost emblems today. I didn't want to be advertising to catalytic converter thieves that there was a pot of gold underneath. I am certain there are better ways to do it than how I did it, but it worked so here is how I did it: 1. I used 30 lb fishing braid in a sawing...
  4. Bilstein 4600 or 5100 for stock ride height

I ordered from Summit Racing, but these are actually not in stock anywhere and the last I heard was it would be delivered directly from Bilstein 2/25: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bsn-24-323680

  7. Reconnecting wireless Android Auto?

I had an issue where Android Auto stopped connecting wirelessly at all and only worked via the USB cable. I removed the device completely from the vehicle and the vehicle from the device. I setup the connection completely wirelessly again. Since doing that, I make sure to never connect the USB...
  8. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

Yes I have aftermarket speakers in the doors which are powered by the 4 channel Rockfordfosgate amp. The Kicker HS10 is completely self contained and powered if that was all you wanted to run.
  9. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

I have the HS10. It fits behind the rear left seat. It fills in the bass nicely for the size. The shop I went to installed an AudioControl line out LC7i behind the head unit to counteract the factory head unit's bass roll off. I am a happy camper with this setup.
  10. Stereo System upgrades thread

I ordered speakers and adapters/harnesses from Crutchfield to replace my stock 6 speaker system. I believe the most basic system is: 2 tweeters in the A pillars 2 6x9 in the front doors 2 6.5 in the rear doors I will try to snap pictures when I get them swapped. The stock speakers are...
  11. Load Range E Tire Pressure

Half the people on the internet say run them at 35 psi like it says in the door, and half say run it at 50 psi so I split the difference and run mine at 45 psi cold.
  12. Making sense of Tire Load Rating and Load Index?

As a brand new full size truck owner myself, this is an area of great confusion. I can only share my personal experience so take it for what it is worth. I swapped my stock tires out for LT tires because I knew I wanted to be towing once in a while. I don't know what LT stands for, but my guess...
  13. Bilstein 4600 or 5100 for stock ride height

I plan on lifting my front 2.5 inches and rear 1.75 inches and using Bilstein 5100s. I already have the rear shocks since the part numbers are the same for 2015-2022. I am still waiting on delivery of the front shocks, which are different for 2021-2022 compared to 2015-2020. When I get the...
  14. Optional $295 tires

If that is $295 for all 4 tires, then it is a good deal. If that is $295 per tire for the upgrade, you are better off getting the normal tires and then upgrading elsewhere.
  15. 2020 F150 FX4 Lariat Giveaway!

I just bought something from Stage3 a few days ago and did not hear anything about this.
  16. Tailgate pad for bikes

That is a definite concern and it is yet to be seen, but there are two things that help address that: 1. The inside liner of the Dakine is a soft felt like material almost like a micro fiber cloth 2. I don't cinch the straps fully tight, but rather just enough to hold the pad in place
  17. Tailgate pad for bikes

I leave it on all the time. With the Leer tonneau closed, someone would need to cut the straps to steal it. I personally am not concerned if it lasts only a year or two being on all the time. Taking it on and off is not hard, but extremely inconvenient unless you have extremely long arms. It...
