The problem is that without a TSB or SSM telling the dealers to do a software update for particular problem everyone’s gonna be taking their trucks into the dealer asking for a software update to make the radio sound better and the dealer‘s not gonna have any idea what the hell they’re talking...

We have to wait for them to close the warranty claim before we can see what they updated. Right now all we can see is your transmission problems they fixed back in December. Congrats on getting a refund for a month’s payment. Sweet Jesus that’s a payment!

It don’t. Ford released the truck without the capabilities and won’t admit it. They’d rather ignore the problem than admit to it and risk having to give refunds or worse, a class action. Who wants to join a class action with me?!

I replaced the rear with the same components that I used in the front. Different mounting brackets, though.

Ford backup cameras have always been much clearer than most manufacturers. The bed camera sucks, though.

Yeah, the quality of that camera sucks. Can’t see anything at night and still grainy during the day.

My job 2 truck has been able to show the bed camera in full screen or side screen indefinitely. I’ve been worried about a software update making it quit working and you’ve made me realize my fears are rational. I’m gonna turn off auto updates.

My biggest complaint is that the amp makes the sub play too high. There’s no crossover control. Some music I have to turn bass up, and other music and news, I have to turn it way down. I’m going to replace just the amp with one that gives me some knobs and maybe a remote gain control and see if...

The ford one is def not worth $700.

I don’t have BlueCruise but can still drive hands-free on mostly straight highways. I just hang a 1-lb ankle weight on the wheel and watch the instrument cluster closely.
